La Maison Occitane - Charmante maison pour 4

Welcome to Caunes Minervois, the land of red marble. In this superb village between the Pyrenees and the Montagne Noire, not far from the city of Carcassonne, come and enjoy the beauty of the Aude countryside. As you enter, take a moment to smell the essences of spruce and admire the stone archway that runs through the house. This charming 3-storey, 90 m² house can accommodate up to 4 travellers. Bed linen and towels are included. We're waiting for you!

The accommodation is composed as follows:

First floor:
- A 40 m² living room with sofa and TV
- A dining area to enjoy a meal together
- A fully-equipped kitchen with electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, hob...
- A WC and a small storeroom (cleaning room)

1st floor:
- A beautiful and spacious bedroom with (140×190), en-suite bathroom with corner bath, shower, WC

2nd floor (under the rafters):
- A large bedroom with a double bed (140×190)

The house is ideally located in Caunes-Minervois. It has a beautiful view over the village, and is in a quiet one-way street that's not overlooked. You'll be close to all the essential shops such as the tourist office, bakery, pharmacy, doctor, Vival, Bar/tobacco, and numerous restaurants.

Activities :
The beautiful village of Caunes Minervois is famous for its red marble quarries and its Abbey, which can be visited. There's plenty of hiking to be done in the surrounding area, particularly in the Montagne Noire. The Canal du Midi makes for great walking, cycling and boating. There's also the splendid Cabrespine cave to visit. A wide range of sporting activities are on offer, from kayaking and canyoning for water sports enthusiasts, to climbing and paragliding for those who like to take to the air. Hiking trails will delight nature lovers.

Transportation :
- Free parking is available in front of the accommodation or in the free parking lot nearby.
A large free public parking lot is just down the road on the left opposite the school.

- Nearest train station : Carcassonne 20- 25 min
- Airport: Toulouse 1h by freeway
- Buses run to Carcassonne or Narbonne (Mediterranean Sea)

Other remarks :
- Bed linen and towels included.
- Pets accepted free of charge. Only one pet per stay. For reasons of hygiene and respect for the premises, pets are not allowed upstairs.
- For your quiet moments, there are board games and books in the side drawers of the coffee table (don't forget to put them back).
- When using the bathtub, please do not use aggressive products such as hair dyes, and remember to rinse it after bathing.
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future visitors. Please leave it in a clean and tidy condition.
