Bornholm - the treasure and bicycle island is a Dorado for active vacationers, especially for guests who want to discover the island by bike. The track network of the island railroad, which was laid down many years ago, has been developed into a fantastic network of cycle paths and has been continuously extended in recent years. In addition to the unique round churches, former fortified churches from the 11th century, you will always come across the striking chimneys of the whitewashed herring smokehouses that rise into the blue sky. The smell of freshly smoked herring ('Bornholmer') makes your mouth water.
