## Emplacement
The Montmartre district is located on one of the highest hills in Paris and the view from the top is worth the trip. Dominated by the Sacré-Coeur basilica, bastion of the Commune in the 19th century, Montmartre then became the neighborhood of many artists such as Picasso, Dali, Duchamp, Toulouse-Lautrec and many others. With its old and picturesque streets, the district was the setting of the world-famous movie "The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain", and more recently many scenes of the Netflix TV show "Emily in Paris". With good reason: Montmartre is a charming village district full of high quality restaurants and shops.
