Welcome to the Desert Gem, your dream getaway in Parkside at Anthem! This stunning 2,700 square-foot single-story home sits on a spacious lot and offers everything you need for a perfect stay.
Inside the Home:
• Bedrooms & Office:
o Master Suite: King-size bed, walk-in closet, and a luxurious bathroom with a walk-in shower.
o Three Additional Bedrooms: Two with queen-size beds and one with two twin beds. These rooms are in a separate wing with a spacious bathroom featuring a bathtub.
o Office: Equipped with a desk, computer monitor, an Xbox gaming setup, and a pull-out couch, which can serve as an extra queen-sized bed.
• Living Areas:
o Open Floor Plan: Ideal for gatherings with friends and family.
o Kitchen: Features an eight-foot island, perfect for snacks or meal prep, and is fully stocked for all your cooking needs.
o Living Room: Large and bright with an 82" smart TV.
Outdoor Oasis:
• Covered Patio: The patio includes a large Smart TV that can be enjoyed from the plush outdoor couch and oversized chairs or rotated to be watched from the pool.
• Pool: This pool features a waterfall and Baja shelf, perfect for kids or lounging in the sun. Optional heating (seasonal) is available for an additional fee.
• Detached Ramada Entertainment Area:
o Gas BBQ grill
o Traeger smoker
o Bar with 3 seats
o Dining table that seats 6
Community Amenities:
• Just 2 minutes from Poston Butte Golf Course (Troon).
For guests planning an extended stay (minimum 30 days), access to community amenities can be granted for a small fee. This includes:

Security:
We maintain two security cameras on-site: one on the driveway and one with a wide shot of the backyard (pool insurance requirement). The door lock also has a built-in camera. There are no cameras inside the residence.

This is our third time back at the Desert Gem. We love the hosts, Karl and Stephanie, and everything about the house and yard. It is perfect for our 3 months away from the cold. We love the community and neighboring towns and have found unique restaurants close by. It is a great place to stay!

We had a fantastic stay and this house could not have been more perfect! Everything about the place was wonderful and there was plenty of room for all. The pool was amazing and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Communication with the owner was timely and he was very willing to assist with anything that was needed. Would not hesitate to stay here for our next trip to AZ!

a REAL “Gem”

This property was exceptional and we have stayed at a lot of vrbo properties. So clean, spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed or wanted was there. Loved the backyard too with pool. would definitely stay there again.

This place is great! The house is huge, with guest rooms on one end and master on the other. Back yard perfect if you have a dog as its fenced in, pool is fantastic, everything was as advertised. The few minor issues we had were addressed right away by the owners. We would definitely rent again.

My team was in the area for a work project. This house allowed them to all stay together and be able to relax comfortably like being at home. Communication was top notch and questions were answered quickly. The pool was a big hit with the heat as my team works outdoors. Highly suggest booking this location if you are in the area.

Home away from home

The house has everything one could need while on vacation. The beds were extremely comfortable and the sheets were sooo soft. We bbq’d and cooked and they had anything and everything you could need. Overly stocked I was really shocked at how the house even had spices. and bbq runs. We had a family reunion at the house and it is very spacious and the pool was great. Stephanie and Karl were available for any questions we had so overall a great time. I Highly recommend the house

Karl and Stephanie are great hosts! They made sure everything was 5 star and were available when we had questions. The house is spacious and comfortable. The back yard has wonderful sunshine. We are from a colder climate and spent many hours in the backyard, in the pool and enjoying using the smoker. The property is set in a quiet ‘town’, with great walking paths and activities…if you can leave the amazing house and backyard! The town of Florence is close by with great options for dining. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning next winter!

Fantastic for families or large groups

This house really did have everything. You can tell that it is an actual functioning house because it had all of the little things you expect to see in a house while not making you feel like you’re invading someone else’s space. It was wonderful for all of us to stay here for an extended weekend. The pool was amazing and the home was in really great condition. We’d love to stay here again.

A Desert Gem indeed!

Our family met at this property from two different states to reunite for a family member’s memorial. This property was not only comfortable and clean it was an oasis in the sadness we had surrounding the trip. We would love e to return in the future to this property to spend more time with our family in the surrounding area.

The home is in an very nice, quiet neighborhood. The home is beautiful and spacious. The only thing I would make sure others know is that indeed it will sleep 12, but there are only 2 full and one half bath. Aside from that, one couldn't ask for better!

Perfect winter getaway

We stayed for a few months during winter. The backyard is south facing and back patio is sheltered from the wind, absolute perfect private setup with a wash behind the house (no neighbors on the fence line). Parks and walking paths everywhere in the community, friendly neighbors. Home is fully equipped with everything you can imagine including Sonos speakers to use on in the backyard. Hosts were wonderful and considerate. This home made us fall in love with AZ and we are considering a move after our experience. Highly recommend
