Great property on a beautiful lake. The house was well appointed and very comfortable. Jon was wonderful to work with. He responded quickly to my questions, was extremely accommodating, and went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely wonderful. We made some awesome memories and hope to return.
We had a great week at this lakefront home. The views are expansive and the sunsets are beautiful. The home is very well stocked with anything you might need. We loved the proximity to restaurants and convenience stores. The property is also fairly private. Jon was very easy to communicate with. We loved our stay. Thank you!!!!!
Beautiful property! Plenty of space indoors and out. Family of eight. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare and serve. We ate breakfast in the sunroom and dinner in the dining room. Lunches outside with a little shuffle of picnic table and table outside primary bedroom. The fire pit was the evening gather for cocktails and s’mores. Coffee in the morning was peaceful . Swam, boated and tubed for the kids. Fishing was a big hit! Also, a lot of wildlife.
House was fantastic!! Caught some fish and had a ton of laughs!! Highly recommended. House is right on the lake with easy access onto the ice, outside hottub was awesome!! Thanks Jon!!
We recently had a great stay at this beautiful spot. The lake and home are wonderful. Setting is very private for being on a lake. Yard is great (nice and flat) along the entire waterfront. Property owner was great to deal with. I will likely stay here again in the future.
This house had a lot more space than we imaged. The waterfront was flat and easily accessible. Lots of good fishing too (but don't tell!). We already booked to return next summer.
We had a great time vacationing on the lake. Used the prattle board and canoe. It was fairly hot week and was nice to jump in the lake to cool off. Jon was very quick to respond if we needed anything.
We did a boys ice fishing trip and the place was perfect. Easy getting gear on ice and perfect water depth out in front of camp. We had a great time and hope to continue to come back every year. Jon did a nice job with everything.
For many years two families have been renting houses on different lakes around southern Maine to take our kids ice fishing and play on the snowmobiles. This year I am so glad we found this place. Exactly as pictured, clean and beautiful views. Access to the lake for ice fishing was perfect. Sitting in the hot tub after a long day fishing was amazing. I think we may have found the spot we come back to year after year.
Beautiful location. Swimming platform, kayaks, paddle board, and dock area. Wonderful grass lawn for kids. Plenty of spaces in house to spread out and relax or converse. If you visit in the summer watch weather trends. June highs seemed around 75*, our July week was highs in 80’s! With no air conditioning the house can heat up fast! Easy location to drive to Freeport for a day trip
Loon Song Lake House is beautiful. Full of character and a stunning view. Plenty of room for a large family getaway.
There are kayaks, a canoe, paddle board and small skiff to go paddle out on the lake with life jackets available in the shed.
There are entirely too many light switches in the house and some of the lights/fans didn't work. But there was plenty of lights that did work and there were small desk fans available for all bedrooms.
Jon, the owner, was quick to respond in messaging. I enjoyed being able to reach out to him with any questions/concerns.
We will definitely be staying again. Hopefully next summer. It's perfect for kids and adults alike!
We enjoyed our week on Cobbossee. It was our 35th year renting on the lake. Our hosts were very gracious and responsive and the neighbors were super nice. The house has a very unique layout with a lot of nooks and lofts. It was great for us and another couple.
Very roomy, nice features, perfect for our Augusta family to visit. Plenty of everything for meals and preparation. Steep driveway for snow and ice but no problem during our stay
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Loon Song Lakehouse.
This is a very quiet, private lot and the view of the lake and evening sunsets can’t be beat. There are kayaks and a paddle board to enjoy and a floating dock that the whole family enjoyed swimming out to!
There is a smoker/ charcoal grill for your barbecues and a nice big fire pit for those beautiful night gatherings.
The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you need to prepare your meals. I love to cook and I had everything I needed to do so.
There is a large screen TV for the whole family to enjoy and lots of space for family games or puzzles.
All the beds are very comfortable.
Great sleeping space for all.
My favorite moment was enjoying the beauty of the sunset while relaxing in the jacuzzi.
Kathleen was an amazing host and immediately helped me with any questions that came up.
I hope to come back and stay even longer!
Thank you so much!
Hello - this message is for anyone fortunate enough to be able to spend time at this awe inspiring lake house. I needed a place to relax, reflect, & restore. This home provided all of that and more. The location is special - with a beautiful clean lake and wonderful docks with stairs that provide easy access to the water (I had folks in their 80’s floating and enjoying the beauty only offered at a Maine lake). The home is clean and has a well stocked kitchen, and wonderful bright rooms that encourage happy gatherings. The bedrooms ALL have very comfortable beds (slept like a baby from the 1st night). There is even a fun video game machine that the kids and those of us with a few years under our belts will play gleefully (I’m talking Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, and more!). The location is also a dream…no long drives to get to civilization, just a couple miles from anything you would need, yet when you are on the property it feels like you are secluded, and 1,000 miles from the stress of everyday life. Let me not forget to mention the fire pit and hot tub…both of which provided their own special ambiance and restorative powers. I’m no doubt leaving out other attributes, but there are so many that my recommendation is to go and experience all this beautiful spot has to offer. Did I mention the sunsets!?!?! SPECTACULAR
