A canoe and a rowing boat are at your disposal. In the lake you can fish for trout and pike, for example, or take a refreshing dip. There is also a nice barbecue hut by the water.
This region is characterised by a flat landscape consisting of fields and farmland separated by dry stone walls. The coastline is popular with surfers thanks to the high waves of the North Sea.
