3 km from Monterchi, in a picturesque hilly position, lies this small vacation house. The former hayloft now offers a cozy accommodation for holidaymakers seeking tranquility in nature. On the ground floor the kitchen-living room with exit to the covered terrace, on the 1st floor the cozy bedroom with bathroom. The interior is rustic in rural style. The cottage is surrounded by a well-kept garden plot with olive trees and rose bushes; from everywhere you have a wonderful view over the hills. The house is located on the edge of a small settlement, the owner occasionally inhabits the neighboring house. - The Tiber Valley can be discovered on foot, by bike, by car or even by train (Sansepolcro-Perugia), following the footsteps of St. Francis - from La Verna to Assisi. From here you can also quickly reach the interesting Tuscan and Umbrian towns and cities in the area: Anghiari 10 km, San Sepolcro 12 km, Città di Castello 15 km; Arezzo 35 km. Monterchi with the famous pregnant Madonna by Piero della Francesca, several restaurants, summer concerts in the piazza and the annual polenta festival in September 3 km.

Een mooie en rustige plek met een gezellig/knus vakantiehuis
Het vakantiehuis binnen aan de donkere kant een met sobere en beperkte inrichting maar voldoet zeker aan de gewekte verwachting. De eigenaar/beheerder is vriendelijk en gastvrij maar spreekt alleen Italiaans. Wat jammer is dat er geen internet bereik is of Wifi.

Traumhafter Blick auf die Hügel von Umbrien
Ein Häuschen in der Natur und doch umgeben vom Leben des kleinen Weilers Borgacciano. Wir wurden sehr freundlich mit Wein und frischen Feigen begrüßt. Zwei Wochen lang genossen wir Natur, Kultur und gutes Essen. Es war wunderbar.

Natuurlijk mooi.
Een puur en gezellig huisje gelegen in een omgeving met een adembenemend uitzicht. In het huis is alles aanwezig wat nodig is. Een buiten douche voor de verkoeling. Een heerlijk rustige omgeving. Centraal gelegen om mooie bezienswaardigheden te bezoeken. Monterchi, Bevagna, Foligno, Peruguia, Arezzo is allemaal op een uur rijden. We hebben een heerlijk ontspannen week genoten.
