General info

The house is wonderfull, sleepingrooms and betts are comfortable. Very completed for the household and nice swimmingpool. What could be improved is to have someone at arrival to explain the use of equipment. We were happy that the neighbour showed at arrival where to find the box with the keys to enter the house. We missed a little bit the help of the concierge. The owner mr Maxime was very supportive.

Lovely villa

11 of us stayed in the gite for 2 weeks (6 adults, 5 children). The property itself is absolutely stunning. Exactly as the photos depict, although the kitchen was smaller than we thought it would be. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the living areas are very light & airy with so much space & the air con was amazing! Excellent WiFi & sound system in the house. The bedrooms had very comfortable beds & were very spacious however, the rooms lacked wardrobe space, some only had a chest of drawers & no hanging space at all. The rooms would benefit from a couple of hooks at least behind the doors for somewhere to hang a towel for example! The kitchen seemed to lack adequate sized pots & pans to cater for large groups but overall, it was well equipped. There were limited house instructions & the ones that were there were in French only so we used google translate a lot! The pool is new to the villa this year & there were a few teething problems with the filters and pool cleaning but the owners regularly checked the pool & they are learning about how to maintain the pool. There is a pool robotic cleaning machine which we were unaware of initially & no instructions about how to use it, or how frequently to use it. after several messages to Marie-Lou & the owner (via google translate), we found out that the pool robot needed to be put in the pool once a day & to regularly check & clean the filter. The property needs to leave pool instructions. Overall, this is an exceptional house!

Top huis!

Het huis is echt fantastisch! Veel voorzieningen, netjes en compleet. We waren met 2 gezinnen met oudere kinderen 18+, eerste 2 dagen was het weer wat minder maar konden we ons binnen prima vermaken! Ook de jeugd! Zwembad was top! Terras ook zeer compleet. Kortom een aanrader!

Incroyable, 5 Étoiles!

Quelle semaine incroyable nous avons passé à Cravans! Nous avons été tellement surpris en arrivant car la maison est beaucoup plus belle et spacieuse que ce que l’on voit sur les photos! Extrêmement propre et bien équipée, cette vieille bâtisse charentaise a été rénovée avec goût. Je ne peux que recommander d’y séjourner tellement nous avons pris du plaisir dans cette maison. L’espace et le bon vivre qu’il y règne dans cette demeure a rendu notre séjour très confortable. Merci à Marie Lou et Solene pour leur accueil et conseils. Si jamais nous revenons dans cette belle région nous reviendrons à coups sûrs y séjourner!
