We absolutely loved this house! Exactly as listed, beautiful, clean, kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans, etc. Loved having the private pool! Very easy walk to the beach and subdivision pools as well. Great communication with property manager! We will definitely be back!

Friends Trip 2025

The house is beautiful. There are alot of stairs to climb.A short walk to the beach and community pools.We never did figure out how to use the microwave. It was a fantastic trip.

Beautiful house in great location

We love the Destin Pointe beaches and amenities, and this beautifully renovated home is easy walking distance to everything. The pool was perfectly shaded in the late afternoon/evening when we were ready for a break from the sun but not from playing.

Great Property Near the Beach

This property had everything we needed and was in super close proximity to the beach. The house was updated and comfortable for all of our guests, and the convienience to the beach and to other amenities in Destin is hard to beat.

This house had lot of space and a lot of stairs. Everything was great just struggled a bit with doors and locks. It was clean, good location and great communication for any help we needed.

Family vacation in Destin, FL - Perfect home and location

Perfect stay! Our family of 7, with ages ranging from 5 to 75, had an incredible time at this vacation home in Destin. The location was ideal, with an easy walk to the beach. The space was perfect for both family time and quiet mornings with coffee on the patio. The private pool was a fantastic option, especially when we grilled dinner. The home was well-stocked, clean, and overall amazing. The highlight of our stay was the stunning sunset views and the nightly fireworks show from the patio. The host was also very responsive to any questions we had. We would book this home again during our next visit to Destin. I highly recommend this wonderful vacation home!

Great Stay!

We had a great stay! We loved the location of the house in relation to dinning and activities in Destin. The Destin Pointe community felt very secure and walkable. The house is an easy walk or tram ride to the beach and community pools. We used and enjoyed both of the community pools. The house was very clean and bright. The recent updates to the décor of the house are cozy and stylish. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. We had enough room to park two cars in the driveway. We would recommend staying here!

Disappointed

The owners had excellent communication throughout the booking process and up until we arrived we were excited about our stay. That all changed immediately upon arrival. Let me start by saying we wouldn't have any complaints if we paid significantly less than we did. It was outdated and not ready to rent for the price point we paid. We definitely paid a premium for what we actually got verse what was advertised. When we arrived we found the following shortcomings. 1. Locking system did not work on front door 2. Pool is much smaller than it looks on pictures and backyard was pretty much unusable. We did not use the pool one time all week. Not only did it look gross when it was actually clean, but, after the first day, there were dead frogs in it all week long. The grill was unusable and filled with mold and grease 3. When it rained one night water was coming through the windows on the stairwell. We had to put buckets down to catch it so our kids didn't slip on their way up and down the stairs 4. The animal rugs were terrible leaving short hairs all over the place, our newborn crawling was filthy from rugs and dirty floors 5. Loft upstairs is unusable as it is extremely hot up there with no air flow 6. The bedroom on first floor had a loose door knob that we had to fix to be able to use it. We actually shut the door initially with our child inside the room, and we were unable to get back in. All the doors have no locks and the bedroom on first floor does not have its own bathroom, its next to the bedroom but not connected to the room. Without locks, multiple people walked in on each other… absolutely no privacy. 7. We thought the 2nd bedroom had a full bath as advertised, but, actually, the 2nd bedroom upstairs had a bathtub with a handheld shower head and NO shower curtain. You have to use while sitting down in the tub. This should have been explained. What adult wants to sit in a tub with no curtain and spray themself with a sprinkler? 8. The queen bedroom on the bottom floor is separated from the house. You have to walk outside and downstairs to access it and it is also where the laundry is located, consider it like its an apartment. 9. The beaches have nowhere to set up your own stuff as there is a company who sets up umbrellas and chairs all over the beach that you have to pay a ridiculous price to rent . It is like they own the beach. 10. You cant open the refrigerator door all the way so the bottom drawer doesn't come out

Friends outing to Destin. This house was spacious enough to give everyone their own bedroom and quiet time area if needed. The pool was a big hit even with the ocean so close! We did opt for the chair service add in and it did not disappoint either! We would all rent Athena again!

Another Destin memory made!

Beautiful home within 2-3 min walks to two different fantastic beaches! Home was perfect for our family of 7. Subdivision is quiet and very well maintained, already looking at the calendar for next year. Thanks again, next family will not be disappointed!
