Property was very nice, and the kitchen was very well equipped. We had a wonderful time on the boat, and playing games in the evening.

Thank you for the feedback and choosing to stay with us. Sorry to hear about bugs. We treated shortly before your stay and some must have been lingering. Haven’t heard of any issues recently. Thanks again and all the best!
Great Lake house! Spectacular view! Well equipped kitchen. Great location! Nice dock with kayaks and paddle boards. Twin cove marina was 5 minutes away. Good restaurant at the marina. Super market 15 minutes away. 217 stairs down to the dock was an adjustment, for those who had a hard time going back up we would just drop them off at marina from boat and drive over to pick them up. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!
Property was AMAZING. Great location, right off the freeway. Loved view and space in the house. Kayaks and paddle boards great addition. Dock was spacious and great for kids. Plenty of room in the house! Had plenty of plates dishes and pots and pans. Pretty much everything you need. Downstairs was a great hang out for teens. Fire pit out front was also nice! Stairs from the water/dock were brutal on the way up but doable by evening the oldest members of our family with a break.
Your home was the perfect setting for our combined 3 family summer getaway. It was very roomy with several large gathering areas. The dining room table was perfect for game nights and ping pong tournaments. Many hours were spent relaxing, floating, bonding, and laughing on the dock. We even came to appreciate the 225 steps down and up to the lake as they made us feel like we earned our dinner!
The proximity to the marina was an extra plus!
We would recommend CoHaMa Lake House and would love to come back again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. The house is VERY well equipped in terms of the kitchen and bonus — the cabinets and light switches are labeled so you don’t have to try every switch, drawer, etc. Nice layout that permitted the kids to hang out downstairs and the adults upstairs. The view is AMAZING — enjoyed mornings at the breakfast nook table. Location was close to local areas and the Twin Cove Marina. Towels and sheets were a nice quality — not thin or scratchy. We also loved our daily visits from “Marley”, a dog in the neighborhood who was super sweet and friendly. As other reviews have mentioned, aside from the roughly 210 steps in between the house and boat dock…this place is great!! Thanks for opening your home to us.
Easy to access off I-75. Plenty of room for our group of 6 adults, 5 teens, and 2 kids. Morning coffee on back porch overlooking lake was nice, as were evenings around fire pit out front. Home was clean and everything in working order. Short drive to Twin Cove marina to rent boat or jet skis. Used the paddleboards and kayaks included with house quite a bit. Big dock with part shaded. In corner of lake, so not much traffic and nothing causing big wakes. About 200 steps up and down to dock. Teens did it several times a day, adults kept it to once or twice a day. Drove grandma to marina and picked up with boat to avoid the steps. Very nice stay overall.
Our family takes an annual trip to Norris every year, and up until this year, we have always stayed in the same house, at a different location. The Twin Cove Marina area has always been our favorite part of the lake, so when I found this home, I decided to switch it up. Heath was great to deal with throughout the whole process. We spent all of our days on the water, and the dock accommodated our two boats perfectly. The swim portion of the dock is very large and even has a shaded portion where a picnic table sits. If you’re planning to pull a boat, there is plenty of space to get to the house and maneuver your trailer. I would recommend taking Ridge Rd off of the main road until you hit Dove Way and then Dillon Ln. We put our boats in at Twin Cove, from the house, we went back to Ridge Rd, backed into Perry Smith Lane, and turned around onto Ridge Rd which leads you to Twin Cove. Evenings were spent grilling dinner and playing games around the table. The flat front yard is also great, so bring your Cornhole boards or Spikeball like we did. Thank you for opening your home to us. Another year of memories we will always hold onto.
The house was very spacious and beautiful! The driveway was plenty large enough for 4 vehicles. The appliances are modern but we had trouble getting the ice maker in the freezer to make ice. We enjoyed time out on the deck and the younger family members went up & down to the lake but there are around 200 steps. It was perfect for our fall family get together!
The property is beautiful, with a stunning view of the lake
Everything was great, clean! Just keep in mind there are lots of steps to go down to the lake and not easy to do for older people , otherwise we had an amazing weekend!
The property is awesome. The view from the deck is awesome and having the dock was wonderful. The steps down to the dock gave us a workout. The steps were an issue for a couple of us on vacation. Need to make them more safe for people over 40. But overall this place was wonderful.
Great property, excellent communication and cooperation with owner, great location and view for lake access, golf, and boating. Very quiet and relaxing getaway.
We had a wonderful time and were very comfortable. The house had everything we needed. We had 7 adults and 5 children in our group. There was plenty of room for everyone. The owner was a great communicator throughout the entire stay. I would rent this property again.
The pictures don’t do this house justice. The upstairs is very spacious with lake views from every room on the back of the house. The 10 ft ceilings make an already open area even bigger and there is plenty of seating in the living room to spread out. The two dining areas around the kitchen are great as well and have lots of seating for everyone. The downstairs features another living space which is great for the kids to play in. We had 3 couples and 6 children and everyone had room to hang out together or separately. The owner was very easy to communicate with and there are numerous state parks nearby for outdoor activities. We really enjoyed the trip there.
There was 15 of us ( 8 adults and 7 kids) and we were very happy with the house. The house was very spacious and everyone had a bed to sleep on. It had really nice view of the lake and where it’s located it’s very private. This was a really nice property and we will definitely stay here again.
We have been coming to Norris Lake together since we first met in 2010. Heath grew up on the water and has always had a love for lakes. He started skiing at 4 years old, and was on a slalom ski by 10. Summer vacations with his parents has been a long standing tradition. In High School, there was a decision made by his family to forego a family cruise and buy a family boat, since costs would be comparable. From that summer on, they found themselves spending at least a week during the summer on lakes in the Southern Kentucky and Northern Tennessee areas. Once they visited Norris the lake hopping ceased, and Norris became the annual destination.
Heath’s love for the lake become embraced and shared with his beautiful wife Nicole. She quickly took to the lake life, and looks forward to visiting Norris as often as possible. After the couple started visiting together on the annual family trip, they started visiting by themselves or with other friends. There have been numerous days discussing the shared dream of having a place of their own on the lake.
In 2014, the family expanded with their first daughter, Colbie. The family really expanded with twin daughters in 2018, Harper and Maggie. You may have thought, what does CoHaMa mean? The name for the property is based on the first two letters of the girl’s names, from oldest to youngest. The combined group of 5 has now fully embraced lake life and jump at the opportunity to spend time on the water. Whether it be jumping in and swimming around the dock, or riding in a tube behind the boat. The family loves spending quality time in this gorgeous and special part of the country.
We look forward to hosting you, your family, or friends in our home and we trust you will enjoy your time on Norris Lake as much as we do.
What makes this property unique
Quiet unassuming part of the lake. Tucked in behind one of the best marinas on the lake. Our home overlooks a small "swimming hole" type part of Norris Lake. Sitting at the breakfast nook area of the house you can watch the activity below on the water.
