The Third Floor Features a Large Rec Room With Ping Pong Table As Well As a Tv Viewing/gaming/sitting Area Next to the Bar, Kitchenette With Refrigerator, Sink, Ice Machine and a Large 7’ Bar With Seating for 7. There Are 3 Bedrooms On This Level, 1 Being a Bunk Room (bed Plus a Set of Bunk Beds), 1 with a King and 1 with 2 twins. This Floor Also Has a Second Washer and Dryer Set. The Covered Deck On This Level Features a Lighted Hot Tub, Outdoor Speakers and Additional Seating. This is a Non Smoking Home. Minimum Age 30 Years for renter responsibility. ( Off season late fall/winter guests do not have access to private dock due to TVA water level restrictions)
Lakeside Estates is a gated community with a private boat launch. We have our own pool and walking trails. Overflow parking is also available. You are 10-15 minutes from LaFollette TN where you can stock up on supplies or make a quick run for any last minute needs. Take a day trip to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg which is an easy drive about an hour and a half away. There you can enjoy shopping, shows and many attractions. There are many golf courses in the area which makes a great weekend trip in fall or spring. Added bonus of the beauty of the mountains during any season.

Family Vacation

We stayed from Sunday afternoon till Thursday morning. Time was to short. Had a great experience there at the house. Fed the cats but not the ducks. Ha ha. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home

The property was excellent clean and great communication with property manager.

The property was amazing great view great communication with management and owner. The property was very clean. The only thing I would recommend would be new towels and wash rags.

Great family time

My family and I came for a post-Christmas gathering and a chance to be all together under one roof. There was plenty of room for all of us and space to be with the whole crowd or move to a different part of the house when we needed some quiet! We especially loved that there were laundry facilities on two levels and two dishwashers in the main kitchen. With all the hills, we definitely didn't have to worry about missing leg day, just climb that driveway three or four times. The hosts checked in throughout the stay and even left a little care package which came in handy for someone who forgot their bath gel (plus, who doesn't like Chex mix). If you haven't been to this area before, know that arriving in daylight would be a good idea with all the winding roads. Overall a great experience!

We are actually The Comforts! Hence the name, Southern Comfort. When we aren't at the lake we live in the Nashville area with our three dogs. We have 6 grown children and are Buckeye fans in Vol territory!

Why they chose this property

It has been a long time goal to own a lakehouse in this beautiful area. The opportunity arose in 2013. It was quite an experience to plan and build this home from the very beginning. Of all the places we have been in this world coming to our lake house is one of our favorite retreats.
