About this property
Panoramic Views, Hot Tub, Sleeps 8
Laird’s Landing sits atop Cordillera Mountain, a one-of-a-kind location that offers wide-open mountaintop views and even a glimpse of Broken Bow Lake. With only a handful of cabins in Cordillera, this hidden favorite is perfect for the discerning traveler seeking space, privacy, and luxury. Few properties can compare with the expansive setting and breathtaking scenery this upscale location provides. While many Broken Bow cabins sit on crowded one-acre lots, Laird’s Landing rests high on a ridge on 3.5 private acres, fronting the Ouachita National Forest. Access is easy with paved roads leading all the way to the cabin, even as you ascend off 259A into the Cordillera outback. Along the way, you may spot deer, raccoons, and other wildlife. As you near the ridge, keep an eye out for the cerulean waters of Broken Bow Lake, dotted with islands and framed by tall pines. At arrival, a new concrete driveway welcomes you with ample parking and turnaround space—ideal for guests traveling with boats or watercraft.
This mountaintop retreat is designed for taking in nature and slowing down. Listen to the wind weaving through pines and hardwoods, or unwind across three spacious patios, each with unique vantage points and seating. The front porch is perfect for morning coffee while watching deer return to the forest. The large open west-facing patio overlooks a hand-laid stone fire pit—an ideal setting during golden hour as the sun sets behind the hilltops. For evening gatherings, head to the covered rear patio, which flows seamlessly into the outdoor living area. This space looks toward a jacuzzi gazebo perched over the ridge and a striking stone fireplace with a spearhead design above the mantle—a subtle tribute to the Choctaw Indians who once lived and hunted these hills.
Step inside and be greeted by 25-foot cathedral ceilings and towering windows that fill the home with light and bring the outdoors in. The spacious great room combines with a chef’s kitchen featuring a massive 6x12-foot solid granite island, a five-burner gas cooktop, and a double oven—equipped for everything from simple breakfasts to gourmet meals. The interior balances classic farmhouse design with Native American-inspired accents, anchored by an 80-inch TV, a stacked-stone fireplace, and exposed pine rafters.
Three bedrooms branch from the great room. On one side, a king bedroom and queen bedroom share a Jack-and-Jill bath. On the other side, the master suite features a king bed, its own stacked-stone fireplace, and vaulted ceilings. In total, the three bedrooms sleep six guests comfortably. Additional options include two rollaway beds, a queen air mattress, and a full bath near the kitchen, bringing capacity to 8–10. Each bathroom features timeless slate tile and rustic cabinetry, combining warmth with upscale comfort.
For entertainment, the cabin includes a 12-foot shuffleboard table in the living area, along with outdoor games. Adventurers will love the private hiking opportunities that lead directly down to some of the most scenic stretches of the upper Mountain Fork River. After a day exploring Broken Bow, return to Laird’s Landing for campfires, s’mores, stargazing, a soak in the hot tub, and unforgettable family moments.
Laird’s Landing is more than just a cabin—it’s a mountaintop retreat designed to create memories you’ll want to relive and share again and again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay. Hot tub was clean and ready for use, kitchen was fully stocked with all the cookware we needed, and the beds were all super comfortable. Loved the fireplaces, we cooked in every evening and enjoyed the outdoor pit with some good ole fashion smores. Beautiful location, great escape from the busy city. Highly recommend. Host was very responsive.
Lush green surroundings, views, spacious comfortable accommodations, trout fishing and a host of Chuck Will’s Widows to sing you to sleep. It was a great Easter getaway for our family.
This property was wonderful for our needs. We have a family of 4 adults and it was perfect. Loved the location and its beautiful surroundings. Will definitely stay here again!
Cabin is beautiful, clean and has everything you need! great for families with teens and adults. Porch areas and views were relaxing and scenic.
Close to everything and yet private.
My wife and I just needed a weekend getaway. The cabin was spotless and allowed me and my wife for a great relaxing weekend. I would definitely worth the cabin again.
Laird’s Landing cabin in Broken Bow was great. Loved the high location with a beautiful view of the lake. Cabin amenities were very plentiful and it was very comfortable for our group of 6 friends. Back porch and fire pit area are great for relaxing with friends. We highly recommended this property and will hopefully be returning again soon.
Little hard to find (no numbers on road) but host was amazing and very helpful with locating. House is absolutely gorgeous, very clean and so secluded and private.
This cabin was pretty amazing.
The property was very clean. Kitchen well stocked with pots and pans, a few spices too. Along with towels, Beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Everything seemed well maintained.
I appreciated the good toilet paper as well.
What an amazing place. Sitting atop the mountain, peaceful, watching the stars in the evening and the morning sunrise ... Pure bliss.
The cabin is the perfect setup and the kitchen is a chef's dream. Every bed is comfortable and the great room is large with a cozy feel.
If you have the chance, don't miss out on experiencing this cabin.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! With three bedrooms having at total of two kings, one queen, and two roll-away beds, there was plenty of private sleeping space. The huge wrap-around porch served us well, as did the outside grill and inside modern kitchen. As an added bonus, the property is located a short driving distance to trout fishing areas on the Lower Mountain Fork River. Also, one general thing we learned is that Texas residents over 65 years old do not need to purchase a fishing license due to a reciprocity agreement with Oklahoma.
I've never had a "bad" VRBO stay just yet, but almost always, something about the listing didn't quite line up with what I was hoping for the experience. This cabin hit the nail on the head! Perfectly situated to the lake and town, just enough space between neighbors, ALL the amenities, and all the gorgeous views! My family and I won't stay anywhere else in Broken Bow going forward.
This cabin has phenomenal views and a lot of spaces to congregate outside and enjoy the outdoors and scenery with your family. We enjoyed the patio games and hot tub at sunset. S’mores were amazing around the fire pit as we gazed upon the stars with exceptional views. Inside was clean with plenty of space for everyone. Utensils and cookware were plentiful therefore provided amazing dinners on the back patio. Book with no regrets!
The cabin has a great location and great views. Overall experience was good. Only a few disappointments, there were speakers in the ceiling that were not working which would’ve been awesome for the college football games that were on. Also the pull out mattresses that were in the closets, after unfolding them, it looked like urine stains which was very unpleasant to see.

Josh, thank you for the review. We apologize about the speakers. They were not hooked up properly when owners purchased this property and the owners decided to keep it this way. That is why the surround sound speakers are not advertised in the amenities. Thank you for letting us know about the roll away bed mattresses. They were not urine stains but still we had them replaced. Rustic Luxe Cabins Broken Bow
This was everything and more! They have every necessity you can think of from; seasonings, pots/pans, every utensil you can think of, blow dryers, laundry supplies, games, etc. Very spacious and a comfortable get away. Had so much land compared to all of the other cabins we drove by. We even got to see a deer in the woods at night as we drove by. They keep their property very clean and the details to the cabin were absolutely beautiful! I would love to rent this out again! If your looking for luxury, but still a cabin like feature this is for you! Being at the top of the mountain was the absolute best experience that we enjoyed! And where it was located, there wasn’t really any traffic from cars that you deal with. The only hard part, was the stairs(but you can’t change it due to it being on a hill).
I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Laird’s Landing! From the moment we pulled into the driveway, we knew that we were in a special place. The cabin itself is well-appointed and had everything we needed for a long weekend of cooking, eating, and relaxing. The views from the wraparound deck are spectacular! The setting is very peaceful and quiet, and felt very remote, but we were only 10-15 minutes from everything we wanted to do in Beaver’s Bend and Hochatown. Thank you for the wonderful memories!
