About the host
Hosted by Anne

Anne & Eugene purchased this Shelter Island home together in 2020. Longtime fans of the Island, via friends, were so excited to find a house in the center of Shelter Island. While they spend a lot of time on Shelter Island with friends, they are happy to offer their home for rental a few times during the year.
Why they chose this property
The home, nicknamed "Gracie," is so perfectly located on Shelter Island. A huge plus is that so much of what the island has to offer (beaches, trails, shops, restaurants, and services) are all within just a short walk from the front door.
The house is spacious but also casual and intimate. It is large enough for folks to spread out and find their own space but cozy enough for group gatherings. The previous owners did a great job renovating the home and it is perfectly outfitted with top fixtures and appliances, as well as all of the comforts of a modern home.

What makes this property unique
For folks who love movies, the big new TV in the main living room has been a popular gathering spot for movie nights with friends. On warmer days and nights, the center of the house shifts to the spacious outdoor deck, table, umbrella, and grill, while on cooler evenings the outdoor firepit is a favorite gathering spot. There are so many spots to enjoy inside and outside the house.
Shelter Island has so much to offer (as do the cute towns and farms of the North Fork as well as the villages of The Hamptons to the South). There's a lot of insight to share with renters who are looking to explore the Island or both the North and South Fork of Long Island.
