We set off on a winter experiment covering 10 states as we made our way to Titusville, a place we had visited often over the years with our 5 kids. Our family loves aviation/aerospace, nature and history. All three intersect right here.
Cape Canaveral, Kennedy space center, National seashore, Florida Cracker(our cattle rancher), Wildlife refuges, major rivers and the ocean are within 30 minutes. Orlando attraction within 45 minutes. Never intended to buy a house but God had other plans for us. Within a few weeks we bought, remodeled/decorated, purchased all the vintage furniture and restored it, landscaped and prayed over Melody. We now live here many months a year when we are not up in the Mitten state. Family and friends stay here when they need to be still, recover from this crazy world and rest. The home we call Melody is a retreat for us and many other. We know God's light shines in this place and you will find peace and joy during your stay.

this is an old fashioned neighborhood where kids still ride their bikes in the street till the lights come on. often they stop to pick a snack of loquats from the tree out front. people walk their dogs all times of the night and once in awhile a gold cart will roll down the street. kinda like stepping back in time to nicer days. we are only blocks away from a brand new Dollar General, Winn dixxi which has a full hot and salad bar which is very good. nice deli and decent prices. take out chinese and dominions pizza is right there too.
6 blocks away is a public driving range. space launches, biplanes, parachutes, ultralights, vintage aircraft are common sightings from the yard as well. 5 minutes over the bridge to indian river, banana river and miles of nature drives and hikes. national seashore and kennedy space center are just 15 minutes further. great dinners and good restaurants close as well.
