Titusville was nick named “Miracle City or “Space City USA” due to its proximity to Kennedy Space Center, and Cape Canaveral on Merritt Island. If you’ve ever seen a video of a NASA space launch, you’ve seen this area.
There is no shortage of things to do while visiting Titusville. Whether you are here for a Space Launch, Fishing, or a nature enthusiast looking for manatees, hiking, or bird watching, this is the place for you.
Titusville is centrally located between Cocoa Beach, Daytona, and Orlando. Twenty minutes to the North is Daytona Speedway, 20 minutes south is Cocoa Beach, and 45 minutes west is Orlando.
Watching a space launch is a breeze. Just head out to your backyard and look to the southeast. Or, if you’d like to get a little closer look, head over to the Max Brewer Causeway, and park at Veterans Memorial Fishing Pier. Less than a 5- minute drive away. There, you can see launches from both Cape Kennedy and Cape Canaveral.
