It is a cute little house, clean, cozy. Basketball hoop and ball provided, we enjoyed a morning game! We felt at home and enjoyed a much needed vacation.

Met expectations for needing a place to sleep while attending party in Westerly
The house does not have air conditioning or central air. It is dark and musty-smelling. It has mold as it is an old house. The sheets were dirty and stained. The owner was not reasonable when confronted with my complaints. It was not advertised truthfully.
This was a well maintained, comfortable home with plenty of space for my entire family. The owners were very communicative and friendly. A little hot at night in the bedrooms. Over all, a great vacation.

About the host
Hosted by Susan Johnson
My husband and I bought this property because we fell in love with it's quaintness. We love the original 50's style of the home with arched openings and the New England basement. We met and married in Oregon but with Rhode Island being my home, we moved permanently to Westerly last Summer. Summer of 2021 was my first experience with weekly rentals. I have learned some things and I am open to fixing what my renters find annoying! I am a straight forward person and like to have productive conversations. I am in close proximity so I can go pick something up if it was promised and missing.
Why they chose this property
This property has the large outdoor space and lovely indoor space. The set back position of the house makes sitting in the enclosed front porch lovely and scenic. All parts of the day are great in the enclosed porch; even in the rain. This property is not a high end luxury property but it is clean and comfortable. The kitchen nook is my husband's favorite spot. The three windows jet out and make for a beautiful spot to sit. Just keep the papers and mail off the tiny bistro table and the experience is relaxing!
