About this property

Vacation Home - Larger Home with Privacy and Scenic Views

Just a short, scenic 45 mile drive SE of the Twin Cities in the bluffs along the Mississippi River.

This vacation rental home will offer great views of the back channel of the river, with 14 acres and lots of privacy. Easy access to historic Red Wing. It is also less than a hour drive to the Minneapolis Airport and Mall of America.

Three Bedrooms and a large loft area which divides into two additional rooms. Plus 2 futons and 3 sleeper sofas offered in this spacious 3600 sq ft home.

Easily sleeps 19+ people. A-frame style home with lots of windows. Dining room with seating for 12, plus room for additional table for seating for 24 total. Updated kitchen, and sitting room with wood-burning fireplace. Large great room with TV, DVD, VCR, and lots of movie selections. Satellite TV and DSL WiFi Internet.

Basement has recreation room with pool, ping pong, air hockey, large screen TV and wet bar.

Outdoors you can enjoy the wrap around deck with views of the water. There is a gas grill, swimming pool, volleyball, basketball, tetherball, and fire pit. The home is air conditioned and heated with lots of parking. Boat launch area just minutes away. Red Wing area also has biking and hiking trails. Also can ski and canoe/innertube close by. Casino within 20 minutes.

We added an infrared sauna in 2015. Access to it is given on a case-by-case basis with a signed waiver. It will not be available from June-August while the pool is open. It will also not be provided when group sizes are above 15 people.

The entire place was very clean and extremely comfortable. We had a wonderful time relaxing before and after the wedding. I only wish we could stay longer because of how comfortable and beautiful the location is. The view is spectacular.

A great getaway!

We had a great time staying at Eagle Haven. Plenty of space for the kids to spread out. Well appointed house was all the things we needed. Great location close to all the activities we wanted. Would like to add it to our yearly rotation!

We had a great get-away as an extended family. We spent a lot of time in the pool, lots of games, outdoor toys, grill, any kind of utensils and dishes to use for cooking. Would definitely recommend for a large group wanting to get away from town, but close enough to groceries, other amenities in Red Wing.
