The Happy Hibiscus Island Oasis with Ocean Views

Welcome to The Happy Hibiscus! We are located in a perfect location where we can catch the sunrise and sunset, less than 100 yards to the beautiful, Passage Key Inlet and a short walk to the white sand beaches on Bean Point! Located on the north end of Anna Maria, this 4 BR home comfortably sleeps 8. With large bedrooms and a spacious floor plan, this house is perfect for gathering. Game room, Private heated salt water pool and hot tub, putting green and outdoor games all for your enjoyment!

This home has been beautifully updated and has a wonderful airy feel, with views of the crystal clear blue waters just 100 yards away! Newer appliances, floors and comfy furniture await your stay. You`ll love the open concept backyard with our patio that overlooks the pool and hot tub. This offers an amazing area to spend time with loved ones while grilling out and swimming.

Our listings are typically Saturday to Saturday but if we are within 2 weeks and you need different days please send a request - do not instabook.

Parking on the island can be difficult. Luckily this driveway easily holds 8 cars and everything is a walk or bike ride away!

We give guests their privacy but can be available when needed:)

There is so much to do on Anna Maria island! Our Favorites include: Morning walks on the beach, bike riding around the island, shopping at the local stores that are within walking distance, sunset dining at the Rod and Reel Pier and the Anna Maria Island City Pier, both within a 10 minute walk from The Happy Hibiscus.

Guests can walk to the beach, nearby park with picnic tables, restaurants and shopping:) Our driveway can fit 8 cars comfortably. Anna Maria Island also offers a trolley that can carry you from the city pier all the way to Coquina Beach. Golf cart rentals are available on the island.

We had a really good family trip. Beach day, sunset cruise, dinner at the Chateau, everything was good. The house is well stocked, in a prime location and we enjoyed the pool. Rented a golf cart and had a blast exploring the island.

Absolutely perfect and the best host ever!

The home is absolutely beautiful and it had everything we needed. There were 8 of us (all adults) and we had enough room. Perfect location, quiet area, easy access to 2 beaches - Bean Point is amazing! Nicole is the best host I have ever dealt with, she is extremely responsive and so kind. We had friends come in from Sweden and could not have had a better time. I would highly recommend this property based on Nicole alone.

Great property in a great location!

Our family enjoyed the space both inside and out. The pool and hot tub area was private and relaxing and when we needed a break from the outside, the game room with the pool table and foosball was a great change of pace. The location is great as well. Easy walking to Bean Point Beach, Rod & Reel Pier and AMI City Pier. Not to mention easy access to Pine Ave and all of the local shops. We will definitely be back!

This property was close to the beach and restaurants. Had trouble connecting to television, had to use our own service. Rugs and bedding appeared dirty. Kitchen needed new cooking pots and pans. We did enjoy the outdoor facility and pool/hot tub. We will be coming back to Anna Maria Island.

Nice Get Away

Happy Hibiscus meet all our checkboxes. We had a family vacation with kids and this home had everything we needed for all the ages. The home was clean and well stocked and decorated for comfort. The location was perfect. The neighborhood is quiet and not much traffic. We rented golf carts and were able to get around easily. We will definitely be back for our family vacations.

We had a wonderful trip. There were 8 of us (4 adults and 4 children ages 7-11). The children loved all the indoor and outdoor activities. There was plenty of room for our entire group. The location is very walkable or short golf cart ride to the beach and some restaurants. Nicole was always very responsive to all our questions prior to and during our stay.

Cannot get any nicer on Anna Maria

If you want a clean, functional rental in a quiet and convenient part of AMI, this is your place. We always place bets on the pool… will it be warm, will the hot tub controls work, will the water be clean. In the case of the Happy Hibiscus, check, check and check. We’d stay here again!

Perfect location

The Happy Hibiscus was the perfect house for two families! Back patio/pool and hot tub were perfect! And you are perfectly located in the north island neighborhood right in the middle of all the beautiful beaches. We had some door/lock issues, but Nicole was so responsive and easy to get ahold of! Great communication with the owner! We hope to come back!

All in all we had a great time. The red tide in the area got us all sick but the home was in a good location close to everything and it had a bonus bathroom and bed downstairs which was a nice supprise. The outdoor area is really nice. The only complaint we had was the air filters need cleaned really bad.

We had a nice stay overall. The property is nice, spacious, and well equipped for the most part. The rugs in the hallway and bathrooms were diirty and the grill grate was very rusty making the grill unusable. In the end, we would probably choose this property again, but for the cost some upgrades would help.

We very much enjoyed our stay. We loved the pool, especially the grandkids. The location was great and the view of the bay was awesome. It’s rare to find a property that provides plenty of paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags. I did have to wash a few bathroom rugs and outdoor table. Also, the listing pictured a fire pit, ping pong table and an outdoor tv. None of those items were included.

Ideal stay for family wedding

We came to AMI for our daughter’s wedding at The Grand Pavillion at The Sandbar. The Happy Hibiscus was a perfect location and was great accommodations for a combination of family and friends. We especially enjoyed the open floor plan upstairs. And the outdoor patio was a great place to watch the NCAA games in the evening. When we arrived it was raining pretty hard but were able to unload the vehicle in the comfort of the garage. We also made use of the beach chairs that were provided. Thanks for everything!

Family Vacation

We had an amazing time! Our group included my wife and son (16 months), my parents, sister and boyfriend. The house is spacious and has a very large sitting area with enough room for everyone. Pool area is fantastic! We had perfect weather each day and the pool was great to have. The location is great. Walkable to both the beach and town, but not a “short” walk. If we book again we would probably get a golf cart for convenience. But really nice location for morning walks with our son and a quick walk to the pier where you can get fresh fish and drinks. Overall the house was stocked for our son in terms of bedding, high chair and toys which made that part of the trip a breeze.

David and I have been in Florida over 20 years. We are pictured here at one of our favorite beaches, Bean Point, in Anna Maria. When we are not enjoying all Florida has to offer we are working in real estate - and we love it! Previously David owned an Outdoor Kitchen business and I worked in Technology. Now, we own a real estate investment and property management company which keep us on our toes. I am also a licensed realtor in Florida and Alabama so if you love your stay with us I can help you find your own dream home!

Why they chose this property

Before becoming a rental this was used as a family home. That means it is very well appointed! The kitchen is well stocked and there is something to entertain guests of any age from 1 to 91!!! We love morning walks on the beach after catching the sunrise across the street at Bean Park. Sunsets at Bean Point can be magical and they are just a short walk or bike ride away.

What makes this property unique

One of my favorite things about this property is in the summer after spending the morning at the beach we like to relax in the pool. The beauty of this pool is that half of it is in the shade and half in the sun. If you want more sun - great we got that. If you want to chill in the shade we got that too! It can't be beat!
