Architectural design of home built on beams gives a perched view of Meyers Creek, panoramic windows bring the woodsy landscape in. Kitchen, dining, living area, master bed & bath, plus powder bath are on main floor. Experience the sensation of tree top and nature immersion above the creek from this level. Master bed & living area offer gas fireplaces encased in natural rock walls. Kitchen offers island with gas cooktop, Miele Dishwasher, Keurig pot or pod coffee maker, Bullet blender, Ice maker in Fridge and pull-out cabinet shelves for easy access to needs. Sliding glass doors off main living space leads to 1000 sq ft of outdoor living with retractable phantom screens, 2 Meile electric grills plus propane grill, wood burning fireplace, propane space heater, pool/craps table and a bar, plus plenty of seating offers you outdoor fun regardless of weather conditions. Relax with a book, throw cornhole, cook a gourmet meal all while surrounded by the stillness of nature. The home's lower level offers 2 split bedrooms with queen beds, a shared bathroom with walk in shower, plus a second living area with gas burning fireplace and a laundry room. Diesel generator keeps power to house in-case of power outage. Lower outdoor deck is accessed off the lower living area with 6-person hot tub, hanging eggs chairs with creek views. Take a stroll down to the private pond and drop-in a fishing line, grab a paddle board or kayak. Usage of our Polaris or golf cart is permitted with a signed release of liability waiver, inside gate only to get around the 40 acres and explore. 10 minutes to Lake Ouachita (Chrystal Springs is closest marina), 30 minutes to Hot Springs. Shooting range and targets on site. Pets OK on a case-by-case basis with a fee. 6 people max. party size in home. We offer a 20 percent discount for 7 nights or more stay. We thoroughly enjoyed both the house and the property. Absolutely beautiful setting with a killer view out each of the many, many windows. The house was well stocked, and the owners were very easy to communicate with. We will definitely keep this place on our bucket list for a future return.

The property was absolutely stunning! ! The owners were detailed with their information and quick to answer our questions, not only detailed in their own property but well versed in the surrounding attractions. The property is well maintained, something for every age there. Fishing, walks, camp fires, playing in the creek. My favorite was watching the amazing firefly show at night. Our family made incredible memories and would absolutely stay there again.

We had a lovely time with our daughter, son-in-law and grand daughter, oh and our doodle! The property is everything it says and so much more! We enjoyed daily walks around taking in the creek, pond, meadows and forests. Our doodle loved to sprint the driveway and splash in the creek. Several glimpses of the wildlife around. The meadow was especially perfect for star gazing on a clear evening! The house was amazing with breathtaking views of the creek and forest. Well stocked, we did not want for anything, and the hot tub was a perfect spot to relax after a long hike in the nearby national forest. The one unavoidable issue we had was responded to immediately and remedied for our stay. Ten out of ten for sure, would definitely stay again and recommend to our friends!

The Perfect Getaway

This property is so beautiful and amazing, pictures cannot capture how unique it truly is. My friends and I took our yearly couples trip to this 40 acre retreat because we wanted to relax, enjoy nature, hike a little, and enjoy some good ol' outdoors fun. This property exceeded our expectations! We fished, we hiked, we utilized the gun range on the property (two targets), and walked the creek. Let's not forget the best part...the patio! Most of our time was spent on the enormous screened in patio. The screened patio is electric so the screens can be raised or let down to enjoy the sound of nature and the outside breeze without those pesky bugs. The hot-tub will definitely get your blood boiling but it is nice to enjoy! The large bay windows are absolutely stunning with the view. This house a true gem. My husband and I have decided to make this a yearly vacation spot. If you want to relax or do some outdoors adventuring...this is for you! If you love fishing, the stocked pond will not disappoint! It was fun to catch the fish. We caught 3 very large catfish and over 20 Brim/Perch (of course we threw the babies back). Property is very well cared for and the owner was very pleasant through all communications. Take my word for it....Visit this amazing home!

More than we expected.

This is a beautiful property, perfect place to stay and enjoy Arkansas's woods and creeks. We used the location, alternating days on and off the property for a week. With friends and two dogs, (FYI Arkansas is very dog friendly) we explored Hot Springs, caught a female biker parade, Lake Ouachita and Garvan Woods Garden. Not a moment we didn't enjoy that fabulous porch. The privacy is priceless. Thank you for making our visit to Arkansas a great experience. Highly recommend this property. D

Great property for a great geat away

Huge property with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We caught a ton of fish, rode the Polaris around the property and greatly enjoyed the outdoor area at the house. Wonderful hosts that were available if needed... we stay a lot places and this one gets 5 stars from us. We'll be back in the fall :)

Beautiful Modern Cabin House w floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the view

This home blew us away. It far exceeded our expectations. Private home on 30 acre ranch w modern amenities to relax and enjoy. Modern kitchen with all the utensils appliances and condiments you need to cook while enjoying the views from the kitchen. The bathrooms were modern and plenty of hot water and pressure to enjoy. Beds were very comfortable . We enjoyed the multiple fireplaces and coziness of this home. The host was wonderful and extremally accommodating. He gave us a late check out and was very helpful w the local recommendations and quick to answer any questions . I highly recommend this home for a tranquil peaceful vacation.

A piece of heaven on earth

This was an amazing place to stay. The house was in the middle of woods with a beautiful creek running right outside the back door. The house had windows everywhere that just looked out into the woods. The place is on 40 acres. We rode our ATV, which they have one for you to use there, we fished, shot our guns but mostly just sat in the huge outdoor screened in room with a nice relaxing fire in the outdoor fireplace. Words can’t describe the calmness and just the sheer relaxation it gave us. The owners were so easy to get in contact with for questions. If you want to be away from the world for a short time this is your place!!!

Incredibly peaceful getaway

This property is gorgeous. You will be hard pressed to find grounds as private and serene. We needed a quiet, relaxing getaway and this was a fantastic choice away from the city.. The view from the main floor is incredible. My daughter loved exploring the creek below., searching for crawdads and quartz crystal. We enjoyed it all, the screened in porch, s’mores at fire pit at night, walks to the pond and around the 40 pristine acres. There’s really no reason to leave once you’re here. It’s peaceful and beautiful and exactly what we were looking for.

Secluded Paradise Surrounded by Nature!

If you are looking for an amazing escape, this is your place! The pictures does not do this place justice! We are a nature-loving family and this house/land has it all. We brought our boat and jet-ski and spent time at Lake Ouachita (20 min away), which was incredibly clear and beautiful. This location & property truly provides the best of everything. The owners were exceptional in their communication & the home was clean, well-stocked and just so beautifully unique. We utilized every inch of the property, as we brought our guns for target shooting, fishing gear for pond, swimsuits for hot tub, and water shoes for exploring the creek. We will be back!

We live in DFW and purchased this home as our retirement escape where we experience nature, stillness and seclusion to reconnect with each other. We enjoy nature walks, mountain biking, water sports and the small things in life.

Why they chose this property

We looked all over to find a property like Meyers Creek. We found this magical gem of a location nestled into National Forest, diverse with topographic diversity, timber, pastures and a beautiful, stocked pond. We found a home that lacks for nothing amidst untouched natural land.

What makes this property unique

The seclusion, luxury and stunning well-kept grounds sets Meyers Creek Retreat apart from other properties. The access gate keeps this slice of heavy a well-kept secret and the home being place half a mile from the gate sound proofs any rock-road car noise. The house is located off a rock road with very little traffic and the closest neighbor is a mile or more away. The running creek views from the perched home, built on a bluff, can be enjoyed from all rooms and the outdoor living space on the main levels. The builder did not just pop-up this home, this home was placed and designed to optimize everything the land has to offer. It is truly stunning!
