Beautiful home in Mocici

This holiday home is located on the edge of the village of Moii and consists of a ground floor and upper floor, which are connected by external stairs. You are sure to spend pleasant hours on the beautiful stone terrace with its refreshing pool. You can prepare delicious meals on the stone barbecue. Comfortable sun loungers invite you to sunbathe, taste the good local wine or read your favourite book. The village is close to ilipi airport and a family farm with horses for hire, on whose back you can explore the beautiful surroundings. There are still village tavernas with local specialities where you can treat your taste buds. The historic city of Dubrovnik is about a 20-minute drive away and the beautiful beaches, promenades and restaurants in Cavtat are about 5 minutes away.

Perfect family holiday home

This is not just a rental villa it is a home. Fully equipped with everything we needed and more. We had been concerned when we read the 3 reviews available. My son only found them after we booked. However, the owner, Zlatko, could not have been nicer. He was welcoming before we even arrived, sending a whatsapp to wish us safe journey. We were late arriving to check in as we got a bit lost, but he was perfectly understanding and such a lovely smiley chap. He speaks little English. We speak no Croatian. So he used google translate and we talked into that to make ourselves understood. The place, including the gardens is beautifully kept. Zlatko explained he would come each morning to clean the pool and check levels but that he would come early and we would probably be asleep. I am an early riser and on holiday like to sit outside with a coffee and a book so I saw him most mornings. He would just wave and say hello and I waved back. Other than that we didnt see him til we checked out. We had music or radio on most days from about 7am til 11pmish. Quite loud during the day so we could hear it in the pool. We cooked outside mostly and made full use of the facilities including the washing machine and especially the dishwasher. The location is excellent. Beautiful views. 2mins from a little supermarket and a lovely restaurant, Domestico, which served great food at reasonable prices, especially compared to other places we ate.

Home from home in Mocici.

The villa is superbly appointed and we were delighted with the facilities. The swimming pool was well maintained every day and the outdoor furniture was in excellent condition. We loved the big table on the patio outside which seated ten comfortably and we dined there for every meal. The orchard is lovely with rosy red apples growing in abundance. Our little grandchildren loved the trampoline and swings and the adults played table tennis down by the pool. The kitchen had every utensil you would need and more cutlery and drinking vessels than you would ever need. The bedrooms are generously proportioned and the accommodation on two levels worked particularly well for our party. Zladco is a good host and checked in with us every day. ‘ PEMO’ supermarket and ‘ Domestico’ restaurant are a five minute drive away and we used both several times. The airport is very close to the property but noise is not obtrusive. Our party ranged from 68 year old to 3 year old and everyone had a fabulous and memorable holiday. We would return without hesitation.

Lovely

Clean, very well equipped and quiet. It was a lovely place to stay with a toddler as there was plenty to do. A supermarket is a 5 minute walk away. I would recommend the use of a car to be able to sample local restaurants.

We were made to feel very welcome by Zlatko, this was our home for the week. Good accommodation, clean and well presented. Very easy to get to from the airport (less than 5 minutes drive) but its not a busy airport, so the air traffic didn't bother us. Good size pool, we cooked all our meals on the outside gas barbeque which was perfect. 10 minute drive into beautiful coastal town of Cavtat, and 25 minutes to Dubrovnik. Good shop for provisions a short walk away, and open long hours. Beautiful countryside and coastal area, well worth a visit. Highly recommended country and holiday home. thank you
