Welcome to one of the best kept secrets in the USA...Killarney Beach (Bay City, MI). Our hideaway was recently renovated from a 3 bedroom area of our home (lower level) with a detached bathroom now into ONE LARGE SUITE with a brand new private tiled bathroom. Completely shut off from main home into your very own private water side suite! Two exterior doors face Lake Huron with a wrap-around cedar deck to relax & watch the sunrise or use the seawall stairs (4) to walk down into the water!
*Note: Water levels reached record high (2020) but are quickly decreasing. Our beach is returning @rapid rate as of April 2025!
Use our beautiful Bay City State Park to launch/anchor/moor YOUR boat right in front of the suite (our home). Or use snowmobile to glide onto the ICE to fish! Larger equipment has nearby entry access plus beautiful Bay City State Park at @beginning of our road (beach)
*North (N) or NorthEast (NE) Winds-DO NOT anchor your boat or leave unattended.

Brand new kitchen built June 2021 includes:
White cabinets & Floating shelves (dishes/pots/pans/glasses), Sink/Garbage disposal, Gray Maple butcher-block countertop, Induction Cooktop, Fridge/Freezer, & Microwave.
*Extras included: Air Fryer, Keurig, & French Press
*Outdoor use only: Blue Weber grill & Blackstone 17ā Skillet along the deck (propane not included)
*We DO NOT supply mini propane tanks for each guest, but if you forget yours you can purchase one from us!š
Two (2) full size Murphy beds were built to create more space, as well as a triple bunk bed!
If sleeping arrangements are maximized at full capacity with 2 Murphy beds in the down position (4 ppl) and the triple loft bunk beds (2-3 ppl) in the living area of the suite at night, then please turn beds back into their upright position for maximized space during the day. PLEASE follow instructions of lowering Murphy Beds.

Beautiful silver streaked epoxy floors, freshly painted walls w/ solid wood doors. A few minor paint touch-ups taking place from time to time. Deadlocks on all doors. Keyless entry. All decor is industrial-contemporary all with a new fresh modern look using only white/grays/silvers with an incredible touch of ombrƩ gradient bright sky blues & turquoise splashed amongst the suite to feel the water & beach while inside the UpSiDe DoWn PaRRoT too! All appliances are new and are black metallic stainless steel.
The Laundry room is not a shared space at this time, but is near the Suite quarters. if youād like we do offer laundry service now and deliver right to you! *see addāl costs
š„Brand new sphere-shaped Bonfire Pit facing the water. Move easily anywhere youād like! A little closer to the water, or maybe closer to your deck seating area? You choose!
Bring your own firewood, kindling, & fire starters! *Any firewood or supplies needed will be an āadd-onā cost as we are not able to supply free to each guest. *XXL Bundle $25
Along the deck-side, a large silver picnic table, 4 stackable chairs & 2 bistro table w/4 swivel chairs are ready & waiting for you! If you need anything-just let us know! NEW: 2 hammock swinging banana & horizontal lounger glider chairs!
PARKING
We have a brand new large H-Shape [half circle] drive! You have entire access of the right side of the H drive that seamlessly connects to your floating wrap around deck, which directly connected to private entrance of your suite! 3 cars/trucks can comfortably fit on your drive. Or 2 trucks w/boats on trailers. Or if youād like to free up your trailers from the drive- you are more than welcome to park across the street (marsh side) and/or park your trailers there when not in use. No worries though on parking, space, or safety!
DO NOT forgot your BIKES!! The #1 FAVORITE ACTIVITY our guests enjoy are the bike trails along the Marsh & State Park that begin @ our driveway!
IF you FORGET your bike, or space does not allow-you may rent our bikes! See rates. Bring your camera, binoculars, & water bottle for daily excursions! Most of our guests use our bikes 2-3x a day and venture a new trail each time! You may see deer, squirrels, beavers, egrets, large turtles, lily pads w/frogs birds & ducks nearby, fish and an endless amount of critters small & big-who are comfortable w/guests. Yes, even the deer hang out in our front yard- early morning & at dusk too! And yes bikes are used year round in between snows ;) Or cross country ski or snowmobile down to the Marsh and enjoy the wildlife this way!

One of the most AMAZING getaways we have had in a long time. The property owners were Incredible!!! The property itself was beautiful. So many great things to do close to the property. Lots of trails with amazing views, especially on the top of the lookout towers. Great food, shops, and parks. A place I will for sure visit again!

Amazing Views.
The hosts were amazing. Stacy and Dave were so helpful. The property inside is small but you donāt need to spend anytime inside because outside is nothing short of AMAZING. It was a peaceful and tranquil vacation with lots of fun. Lots of nearby activities. Pier to walk on even at night and state park close by with a public beach and splash pad. I would 100 percent recommend this property.

We enjoyed several parts of our stayāthe home was clean, accurately described, and located in a convenient area but future guests should know the homeowner smokes, and the smell of cigarette smoke is strong throughout the home.We were traveling with young kids and someone with asthma, so the lingering odor was a real concern. We had to wash all our clothes and belongings after leaving.This isnāt mentioned in the listing, but itās important for anyone sensitive to smoke or with respiratory issues to be aware. Everything else went smoothly, but the smoke odor was a major drawback for us

Beautiful lakeside setting
The hosts for this rental offer tons of additional amenities and are very helpful. They have great communication and are extremely accommodating. They are as hands-on or as hands-off as you need them to be. The room is immaculate and decorated very modern, but super cozy. I did find the room to be a little smaller than I expected, so you may find it a little cramped on a rainy day if you are a two adults staying with a couple of teenagers. There are a lot of cool spots to check out in Bay City, so I would recommend doing that on rainy days. The greatest thing about this place is that it is so well-stocked, you could come with just your toothbrush and a change of clothes and not need to bring anything else!

Melanie was an incredible guest right from the get go!! She planned months in advance and updated me with potential visitors. We were disappointed to never meet in person, but were able to schedule a FaceTime tour beforehand to ensure they knew how to use everything within reach & to explore all the surrounding areas witt just a bike ride!! They left the suite impeccably spotless and we look forward to their return!! Didnāt have the greatest weather for fishing but they for sure had a blast! UNTiL NeXT TiMe!

Absolutely the BEST!
I literally canāt say enough about this property and especially the owners. From the moment I inquired about the property, I was met with prompt responses to any and all questions we had and that same type of service carried out throughout our entire stay. I have NEVER had an experience like this with ANY other rental property. Once we arrived we were greeted with a smiling face and a popsicle for our little one-making us feel right at home from the start. Stacey and Dave were the most amazing hosts. Any accommodation we needed they were right there to assist. Forget rental-this place was like staying at a 5 star resort!!!! The house is immaculate, the view stunning, and the owners absolutely salt of the earth people. I am already planning our return for next summer! Trust me when I say that you will NOT be disappointed! Stacey and Dave and this beautiful waterfront property were such a blessing to us-and we know they will be to you too!!!!

Go to the Upside Down Parrot! Youāll ā¤ļø it!
From the moment we pulled in the drive, Dave & Stacey were SO hospitable! They were so kind. They took our daughters out tubing for their first time EVER and they had a blast! The weather was perfect, we loved the friendly neighborhood, biking and walking the beautiful trails, and evening bonfires. If we needed anything, Dave & Stacey were quick to provide. The suite was nice and quaint and offered all that we needed. The triple bunk bed was a nice feature for our 3 girls. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a relaxing lakeside get-a-way to check out this wonderful property. You will NOT be disappointed! Thanks again Dave & Stacey for being amazing hosts!

This group of 8 women (celebrating a Bachelorette weekend) were an absolute treat to host! Cassie herself is an amazing & talented individual who organized, communicated, & followed-thru in an outstanding fashion with us the entire time: From pre-booking right up until her arrival! Her dedication to make this a perfect weekend was amazing! We enjoyed treating this group to a surprise breakfast & bonfires, as well as offering them a free night attached to their reservation-to extend this special weekend to remember-which they gladly accepted. They were beyond grateful-as it created a much deserved and relaxed weekend with not as many worries or unknowns in a city they had never ventured before :)
We wish the Bride-To-Be (Britney) the best of luck with her fiancƩ Damon! We would have loved the opportunity to host Damon's Bachelor group of gentlemen-at such an incredible place. He personally thanked us for hosting ahead of time for all the extra accommodations we set in place beforehand (especially the gift of a free night before even meeting) and stressed how difficult it was to find a place (especially on the water plus w/private water access to Lake Huron only a few steps from their door) to even consider hosting a Bachelorette party. We insisted the girls will forever treasure & appreciate what they are about to experience, as it is what they wanted so it is our job to be sure they enjoy every single moment! We made it OUR PRIORITY to make sure we exceeded their expectations and went above & beyond, as we do for ALL guests! Without a doubt, these girls left with amazing stories, unrepeatable moments, beautiful pictures, & experiences they never anticipated or will forget!
Cassie so many thanks to YOU for working with US to make this a great weekend for these girls! We saw first hand how each bridesmaid invested time, thought, & energy into creating this perfect getaway! Had it not been for YOU though, this weekend would have not been nearly as great-as YOU are an incredible guest, and an even more amazing & dedicated friend to this bride! YOU are welcome back here any time! So many of these ladies were so gracious for just the basics, plus all the extras, and how we pulled off making sure we had 8 of everything...plus many surprises along the way! ;)

Amazing Waterfront & Hospitality
Best hosts I've ever had at any rental! Dave and Stacey went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure we had everything we needed. The studio is very well stocked and everything is brand new. The area is great, and exceptionally bike friendly for nature excursions. We couldn't get enough of the waterfront views, and had a blast paddle boarding in the bay. Beautiful sandy bottomed sand bar right in front of the property. Thank you for everything!

You soaked in as much adventure as possible during the holiday week which included several family bike rides, a fun boat cruise along the Bay & within the River, swimming, floating fun in the water, bonfires š„ at night & BBQās by day, morning yoga along the waterās edge, downtown shopping, & you even tried Paddle Boarding!
~We apologize we only had 2 bikes to rent. We are working diligently on this & just purchased a few more this month to build to our fleet. Our neighbors came through for us though, so you were able to rent 3 bikes from them so all 5 of you could bike together along the State Marsh trails! The bike trails starting just a few houses down-took you to the Bay City State Park, Mussel Beach Diner/Ice Cream & Dutch Village, while you were also able to trek to the Watch Towers/Treehouses for birdwatching & photography and across many wood bridges and paved trails throughout protected wetlands & wildlife.
~We urge guests to plan ahead to either 1) bring your own bikes or 2) set up rental beforehand so no one is disappointed because hands-down šājust as you experiencedāBIKING has been the #1 favored & unexpected ADVENTURE for ALL (even for those who donāt normally bike)!
Upon your request for researching local companies for watercraft rental options: Pontoon boats (1/2 day @$600) & Chartered boats (minimum $750ā¬ļø, both with a potential up-charge for gas prices increasing by the dayš±) WE APPRECIATE you chose to boat with US to support OUR small business Vs the large marinas. Plus we omit driving to the destination, shared group rides, & wasted vacation time! Instead, WE OFFER: Curb-side Seawall pick-up/drop-off just steps away from the Suite w/all gear provided (Life Jackets/Tubing/Skiing/Fishing. YOU create your itinerary either exploring just ONE activity or SEVERAL activities! This is YOUR VACATION-not ours-YOU get to pick what YOU want while we pamper all the way!

Thank you for appreciating the early-checkin and all the āextrasā we furnished within the Suite-from endless condiments to an air fryer, Blackstone skillet & Weber grill which made it super easy for you to cook the incredible meals you created each day! You amazed us when you took a frozen pizza, placed it on the grilling veggie basket provided and cooked it on our grill! Awesome idea!! You also invited us to be YOUR guests and treated US to an AMAZING Bison & Salmon grilled dinner, š along with our (many) raised glasses filled with our homemade š š āØ It was a pleasure to send you home with a jug of our specialty drink! š We are hoping the top secret ingredients will bring you back to Michigan, and to US each year! And yes Marc-there IS cider in it! š
You were great Storm Troopers too! You experienced the winds of Lake Huron change from SW (calm/blowing out) to NE crashing waves/blowing inward) in a matter of minutes with the temperature dropping from a hot & humid 98 to a chilly 70 degrees! Shortly after, we heard no complaints when a power outage occurred for a few hoursā¦thank you so much for being patient as we worked through this unexpected event while having guests!

BEYOND AMAZING š
To say that Stacey and Dave were the perfect hosts would be an understatement!!! They went above and beyond in accommodating our family in literally every way possible this past weekend! Their Saginaw Bay waterfront property is BEAUTIFUL, inviting, relaxing, and provided our 2 little boys with an unheard of shoreline fishing experience with an opportunity to catch Rock bass, Bass, and even Walleye right at their seawall! Their newly remodeled suite was the perfect size for our family of 4 and it is super cuteš They are awesome people and we can't wait to go back as we have already secured another weekend this summer! Definitely recommend this property to any and everyone!!!

Holly, Brad, & their two adorable boys were the absolute perfect FIRST guests we could have ever been blessed with! With so much anxiety as new hosts this July 2021 & attempting to make everything so perfect, Holly sensed this and reached out the day before and assured me that all would be okay! We needed to hear this as we knew the Suite was clean & with everything all brand newābut were just trying to be sure we hadnāt forgotten anything, etcā¦ The Taylor family enjoyed fishing day and night, bonfires, and the trails & Mussel Ice Cream! We were excited when they booked to return 2 weeks later! This is an AMAzING family who ate kind, compassionate, and so fun to be around! They even welcomed us to join them for drinks! The Taylor family is welcome back ANY TIME!!
