Not far from the wide sandy beach and an impressive cliff is this nice cottage, protected from the wind by evergreen conifers. On marked hiking and biking trails you will meet a rich animal life in this varied dune landscape and behind every dune top a new panorama opens up. Or you can let the refreshing North Sea water wash around your bare feet. Paragliders also like to come here and jump from the high dunes. For golfers, whether beginners or experienced, there are beautifully situated golf courses in Løkken and Blokhus. If you want to contribute to your lunch with home-caught fish, there are good opportunities to do so at the pier, on the beach or in nearby put & take lakes. It is only about 5 km to the lively seaside resort of Løkken, where you can amuse yourself with bowling, go-karts, laser games and the like at the Action House. There are also discos, nice cafes and restaurants. You can choose between 50 amusements in Fårup Sommerland, romp around in the large open-air waterland or get close to a variety of tame animals in the Family Farm-Fun Park. Also visit Mårup Church, which was featured in the film adaptation of a novella by Karen Blixen, or Rubjerg Lighthouse, now silted up. Both bear witness to the irrepressible forces of nature in this area.
