This property is a gem. It's located just a short drive, or free, on-demand shuttle ride away from the Mountain Village core, where you can access the Telluride Ski Resort, and all the shops and restaurants that Mountain Village has to offer, yet you can enjoy the privacy that comes with staying in the Lodges on Sundance.

The space itself is its own little oasis, with vaulted ceilings, comfortable furnishings, deck access, a full kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances, and a dining table for dinner guests. You have everything you need from garage parking to multi-tiered living with the primary suite up on its own floor to an open-concept living space. That incredible space has sight lines from the kitchen into the living and dining areas, as well as a balcony so you can easily take in the massive mountain views.

There's also a second sitting area downstairs that has a pull-out sofa bed, a TV with a soundbar, an adjacent laundry room, a half bathroom, and patio access. Property highlights include a wonderful Mountain Village location just a short distance away from the Mountain Village core, free, on-demand shuttle access, access to the Telluride Ski Resort, an open-concept living space, a rustic mountain aesthetic with wooden beam accents, deck and patio access, and a gas fireplace. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Perfect mountain house

Lot's of space, very clean and comfortable, terrific location, well supplied. We loved the added exercise of the stairs but may not be a good fit for some. The luggage elevator was brilliant! We'll be back!

Great and convenient home

Beautiful home, almost ski-in/ski-out, the Sundance run is just 100 yards down the road. We got plenty of snowfall and could ski down the road to the entrance to Sundance. The plates, silverware, bedding needs to be updated. Other than that, absolutely wonderful stay.

Beautiful home. A few sad items.

This was a great property with some items that did not match that level. The plastic handled fake wood cutlery needs to be replaced as the handles are separating from the useful parts. There was exactly one knife left. There were only three large plates and one was chipped. Crockpot had no lid and the place should have a Dutch oven. Hot tub was very nice but occasionally temp would drop inexplicably. Overall it was a great stay but having to steal plastic knives from our lunch spots was ridiculous.

Good, but could have been great with a little effort

The home looked mostly like the photos which is pretty nice. The loft space was unfurnished. Not all of the TV's had signals, and the main TV room is very small, but not a problem. The first morning we had no water anywhere in the house. We were not able to shower, use the bathroom, cook, or clean before leaving for the day. Maintenance came within a couple hours to show us how to reset the leak detection alarm, which apparently is known for it's false alarms, and turn the water back on. These instructions would be great to have included in the welcome information. They came out pretty fast, but it was too late for us to be useful. The trash bins were overflowing in the garage, and there was garbage on the floor too. Management eventually came to empty out the trash a couple days later. The hot tub was empty when we arrived. I notified Vacasa, and they said it would be fixed that day. The service company came late the next day, and the water was warm enough to use just as we were checking out of the property. None of these items were huge issues on their own, but in total the house was not ready to be rented. I requested a partial credit for the problems, and after 8 days of waiting I have a very small credit of about 5%.

Everything about this place was awesome. Clean, good kitchen / utensils. Great location for a ski in ski out. 400ft easy walk to the Sundance slope. 8 minute walk to the gondola. Views were amazing.
