**The Daytona Beach Resort sustained some major damage from Hurricanes Ian & Nicole in 2022. All Daytona Beach Resort amenities other than parking are closed. This includes the pools. There is no need to message me about the pools: I will update the listing once they reopen. I can guarantee a clean, comfortable room – unfortunately – I cannot guarantee amenities at the resort.**

You will find everything that you need for your beachside vacation here: full kitchen with all the essentials, grocery store & restaurants within walking distance, e-bike and watercraft rentals nearby, and of course, the world-famous Daytona Beach!

The unit and host was great. The parking situation was a little difficult but we managed.

Lovely view

Unit was very clean and well stocked. Really beautiful ocean view from the balcony. Convenient location. Walking distance to cute beach restaurant- Beach Bucket right on the beach! The view of the pool deck right below was not pleasant because of damage remaining from 2022 storm but looking straight ahead from the balcony was totally clear and beautiful. Communication with host was great - she responded quickly to our questions.

Room was good, facilities around it was horrible

The actual room was nice and clean. The facility (Daytona Beach Resort) around it needs some major attention. They are saying it is storm damage but many/most of the other building near by have been repaired or are getting repairs. Only one working elevator to the area of this Vrbo rental. Main entrance still looks beat up from the storm. Once in the room it is nice as expected but once you step out on the balcony the view is great unless you let your eys wander down just a little bit. The back of the facility (which looks like it was very beautiful at one point in time) is a complete mess. The pool now hold nasty green water that during calm times greets you with a pungent odor. All the retaining wall and back patio damage takes away from the overall enjoyment you could get from just sitting out on the balcony and enjoying the view. Once again the room would have been a do again but the facility around it made it a never going to use that rental in the Daytona Beach Resort again. Maybe add some pictures of the storm damage from the balcony point of view so people know what the view will truly be like.

Not as expected

Very run down. Looks like they are just going to let the place collapse. This place would be shut down due to structual safety if it was in Canada. Front desk staff was hating his job and it showed. 1st time booking through VRBO. I don't think I will trust it again. This place is rated this way higher than it should be. It was probably a very nice place at one time. Need update pictures so people are not misled.

Daytona Beach Resort has been the favorite vacation destination for my family of 5 for the last 15 years. We've spent endless hours at the pools and on the gorgeous stretch of beach in front of the resort.

Why they chose this property

All the fun and sun of Daytona Beach without the hustle and bustle of the southern end of the beach. We are 10 minutes from the Daytona Beach Boardwalk, 1.5 hours from the Orlando Theme Parks, 30 minutes from the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, and 1 hour from St. Augustine.
