Great apartment for our Olympics visit

Beautiful apartment with great light, lots of space, and nice amenities. Short walk to the train station (Lille Flanders) that was great for our transit to venues in Lille and to Paris. Nice restaurants and stores nearby. A bonus was having the USA Basketball teams right across the street. Despite a language barrier, I was able to work out meeting up with Mohammed quite easily and all my questions were answered quickly.

Firstly, our host Mohammed was warm, very welcoming and showed us through the apartment with any necessary explanations.Location to Lille’s historic centre and train stations was excellent. The apartment is spacious, very clean. Kitchen was well equipped, also had the basic condiments. Was great having a washing machine and a good iron/ironing board.Some furnishings were a little tired but comfortable. Nevertheless, we loved staying here and felt quite at home. It was also very quiet. Supermarket about 5 to 10 minutes down the road, and a lovely boulangerie 5 minutes down on the corner.We would be happy to stay here again.

Le linge de maison et draps de lit très bien. La cuisine a notre convenance, car peu utiliser pour y manger.

Tout a été découvert par nous en dépit de ce qui avait été annoncé.Le lit bébé demandé, plusieurs semaines à l'avance (et qui était annoncé dans la description) a été un sujet d'angoisse. Même si les taches montraient qu'il avait été manifestement beaucoup utilisé, il a fallu faire venir de l'aide, pour essayer de le monter, puis l'emporter. Finalement, après quelques temps, il est revenu monté et a été installé. Aspirateur indisponible ("le chargeur est en maintenance")Coupure d'eau intempestive à 10h du matin, rétablie quelques minutes après un message pour s'en etonner, qui n'a pas reçu de reponse.Absence de chaise haute (annoncée, puis demandée sans réponse), pas d'option pour asseoir un enfant de 4 ans à table.Absence de couverts enfants comme indiqué, vaisselle en proportions incohérentes.Pas de carafe, plaque s'éteignant toute seule au bout de quelques minutes de cuisson.Absence de livres enfants (annoncés) (4 prêtés sur demande)Sachet anti-mites dans la chambre enfant "papa je peux ouvrir le bonbon ?" Életricité pas pas aux normesZones notées comme privées. Pas d'étendoir à linge, 3 grandes serviettes pour 4 personnes, 3 petites et deux tapis de bain.Ascenseur logeant à peine une poussette et un adulte, télévision annoncée comme connectée ... mais à edf. Wifi annoncé, code donné, pas fonctionnel.Globalement inadapté, voire dangereux, pour les enfants de moins de 6 ans,Premier sejour abritel qu'on a songé à écourter, et ce dès le deuxième jour !
