Villa Marie features a king-sized bed, a spacious kitchen and entertainment area and a balcony where you can unwind as you watch the sunset over the Caribbean. The condo is located within the gated community of Regatta Point Villas, giving you access to two private tennis courts and three freshwater swimming pools that overlook the ocean as well as walking distance to two beaches.

Villa Marie is conveniently located on the premier south side of St. Thomas, near many of the island’s most popular beaches and attractions. Poor property and location

This was advertised as a 1 min walk to beach which it is not as up many stairs. I was traveling with elderly family who could not go to beach or Mims restaurant. Beach was small and gross. Propert had very little inside. Scarce on cookware and towel bars falling out of wall. I had to take a taxi to everything and it got very costly because everything was far. Would not stay here again

Accurate photos and description

The first thing we noticed when walking in was the photos very accurately portrayed the rooms. The living and dining areas led to the balcony doors with a spectacular view of the ocean where we could sit and watch boats in the mornings with our coffee. The kitchen was well-equipped and very clean. We did a grocery run for coffee, yogurt and granola but ate the rest of our meals in the local restaurants. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The pool was wonderful and only a few steps from the condo. It was great to lay on the pool deck and hear and see the ocean. We would definitely stay here again!

Little Things Matter

We have been thinking about buying a short-term rental property in the USVI and several listings in Bolongo caught my attention. The photos of this VRBO listing looked good and so we booked. The inside photos were accurate. The unit has been newly redecorated. But it seems as if the owners stopped at the 90% complete level. Lots of old cracked floor tiles. Dirty grout. Beautiful new cabinets in kitchen and bath, but no dressers for clothes. (I used an empty kitchen cabinet.) Plenty of paper towels and TP, but no detergent for the washer. This unit is not convenient to any grocery store and so a little thing like clothes detergent would have been a VERY thoughtful touch. The mattress is nice, but there is no box spring beneath it. Towels were fluffy and plentiful but the sheets were low quality and the pillows uncomfortable. (That’s not unique to this place, we’ve yet to stay in a short-term rental with good bedding.) The two new AC units worked like a charm but the blinds in the bedroom don’t keep out enough light, making for a difficult sleep for those of us used to a dark bedroom. The unit is not easy for the cabbies to find and it is a hike and lots of stairs to get either to Iggy’s or Mim’s restaurants. (Building location really matters at Bolongo.) The emails from the hosts didn’t include phone numbers or email so all comms prior to reaching the property had to go through the VRBO portal. We arrived early and met the inspector who was just leaving. The hosts accommodated our request for a two hour early check-in but charged us (a fair) extra $50. The items mentioned in this review can be easily remedied and I hope the hosts soon make this the five star rental it could be. The view is SUPERB.
