We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very well-appointed and very clean house. The host replied promptly and effectively when we contacted them. We would definitely stay here again.
Loved this house! It was perfect for our girl's weekend away. Enough space for each of us to have our own bed, and lots of areas to hang out together and separately. Every room is beautiful and unique, the kitchen had everything we needed for meal preparation, and the location was great. Tim's responses to our questions were prompt and helpful. Would come back!
This property suits our family’s needs beautifully. We very much appreciate the owner’s prompt response. We are very comfortable here and plan to return next summer.
The house worked well for having our family and their kids. Total of 9. Well set up, beautiful landscape and plenty of yard space. The pool was a big hit! Easy access to amenities. Great place to stay.
The house is perfectly appointed. It has everything you’ll need to enjoy a relaxing week or weekend. Plenty of room for a large group or if you have teens who want to hide away. Can’t wait to return.
The house was the perfect size for 8 adults… enough bedrooms and bathrooms for 4 couples. It was close to all the winery’s we wanted to visit! We would definitely stay there again. Very clean and well stocked!
We had a large multi family group during our stay. This home had one of the best stocked kitchens we have experienced. Nicely decorated throughout, we had a great visit. The state park with fantastic dunes is only minutes away.
I love this house and the property. It's beautifully furnished, clean, and charming. It has wonderful amenities (close to beach, close to shops, pool, hot tub). The owners are very responsive to questions. I would stay here again.
Eclectic decor, thoughtful touches, so many amenities
We had a lovely time for a girls weekend away. The proximity to the lake, the hot tub, and the pool were wonderful. The backyard was private and cozy, the kitchen had everything we could have needed, the space gave everyone their own private quarters since we had less show up than originally intended.
Got together for a family reunion. This property had it all- plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Spots to get away for a little private time. Heated pool plus hot tub. Close to the beach! Would love to go back again!
We had a great time. Everything was as described. Pool was fantastic. Large kitchen table to gather around for meals and card games. Thanks Tim for the accommodations!
We had a nice time on vacation! The pool
Was wonderful and we spent a lot of time there. There was lots of room for everyone. Was really nice to have all the amenities. The decor in the house was nice. We also enjoyed the area and ate at several restaurants and did some antique shopping. Thanks again!!
The size of the property was more than adequate for our family of 11 and golden retriever. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms spacious, each with its own contemporary tiled shower. The fenced in backyard was wonderful for our dog, and everyone enjoyed sitting in the hot tub while the snow fell. The villages of Bridgeman and Sawyer, with it's fine brewery are close by. We'd stay again!
We enjoyed our stay in this home. Very funky vibe. Loved the set up of the house. Clean and so much cooking stuff in the kitchen. The location was wonderful. The only complaint we have is the TV in the basement would not work. The bathrooms were gorgeous and the hot tub was wonderful.
The place is very roomy. The dark walls weren't to my liking. The place was clean but could use a good cleaning. The outside is amazing, fire pit (except had to bring our own wood), hot tub (very easy to use) fenced in for our dogs, plenty of sitting areas. Not very kid friendly (no plastic cups or dishes for them). Overall we had a very good time. Thank you.
My two brothers, our spouses and my mother spent a long weekend in SW Michigan to enjoy the wineries. This place had more than enough room for us and was comfortably laid out to provide room for all of us to be together but also space to have some down time. It was conveniently located to all the places we wanted to go (restaurants, casino, distillery…) Being March, we couldn’t enjoy the pool but thought it would be great to come back in the summer with our kids and grandkids. The house was uniquely decorated and we enjoyed discussing the artistic style(s) of the designer. Would definite consider staying here again.
Great property in a nice location. Highly recommend this house-plenty of space and great decor.
We loved our stay, every minute. The property owners were beyond easy to work with and flexible. We rented another property in the area last year and also had a very positive experience. My family comes her for a Midwest long weekend/spring break with our kids. This was perfect for a large family ranging from 17-25 year olds. Great decor, very clean, great amenities and plenty of space. We enjoyed every room, especially the basement and the kids loved having their own rooms and bathrooms. Easy drive to the state park and can walk to the winery/pour house. We loved everything about our stay!
First, I think someone (or design team) had a really great time renovating, updating and decorating the property. You can see the attention to detail (inside / outside) and effort to make it the place it is. Second, VRBO should use this place as the "quintessential definition" of a heated pool, which was very much appreciated during the cooler days we had in June. Last but, certainly not least, the home was quite clean which, made us quite comfortable staying there. Looking forward to coming back someday!
Loved the backyard BUT patio and seats had black mold and pollen infused in material and cement. Needs to be power washed. Walls in master bedroom I could write my name in it. Kitchen floors were not swept or washed Other then that it worked great for the 6 of us sisters. Thank you

Hi Rosemary. I am glad to hear the house was great for you overall. I know we went above and beyond in so many ways for you, so am surprised to see only confused negative comments posted after everything we did including helping to jump start your car, answering 75 questions from several different members of your group for weeks in advance, etc., etc.
The patio furniture in the sunken patio has been replaced, this season was its last. That said, it's a shaded patio and there was certainly no black mold, but pollen in a wooded area is natural and there is a little moss on the cement from the humid summer which we'll clear up, but no mold. Not to mention 10 other places to sit in the yard if the moss was bothersome to you. The paint in the master bedroom is a high end paint with a lot of pigment in it, so it can show flaws if you rub your hands all over it, but there was certainly not pollen sticking to any of the walls in the house, nor would that even be possible. The kitchen floors are corten steel and naturally show a lot of imperfection, that is part of the look, but the house is always thoroughly cleaned inside and they clearly would not just leave one part of the house dirty.
Everywhere I looked in this fun house gift box property there were wonderful, beautiful, thoughtful things that made our weekend so lovely and enjoyable.
I didn't realize it would be so close to the highway... which at first concerned me in regard to vehicle noise & traffic, but that did not transpire. Plus, accessibility was extra easy as a result.
I spent a lovely autumn afternoon in the hot tub... blue sky, colorful leaves, crisp breeze... I couldn't have asked for anything better.
The rooms were beautifully furnished with quality beds & bedding. So nice to have so many bathrooms, too.
We did a lot of cooking and were impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked with utensils and appliances, large & small. The grill was great (omg - I just realized I didn't check if the chef cleaned it before we left! uh oh) and having three fridges & freezers was super handy.
I'm planning to stay here again this coming summer as my birthday present to myself. <3
