About this property
Private Lake Access and 8 acres of Trails!
Silent Canoe features 5 bedrooms & 4.5 baths, including 3 king suites, a bunk room, and a private loft. There are lake views from nearly every room, a wrap-around covered porch, a covered dining porch, a game room, and a fire pit!
The home is on 8 acres, with cleared nature trails, including a .25 mile path to the lake!
One king bedroom with attached bath is on the main level and is accessible without going up any stairs. (There is one small step up onto the porch from the upper driveway.) There are 3 bedrooms and bathrooms on the 2nd floor and a 5th bedroom on the 3rd level. Along with one bedroom, the main level also includes the living and dining room, kitchen, half bath, laundry room, and one more private room that has a futon and a table for 4, which can serve as an office, extra dining space, game room, and/or can sleep one person.
There is also a ping pong table and arcade-style basketball in the garage level for extra fun, as well as a corn hole set.
The kitchen is well-equipped with cooking and dining ware, a 4-slice toaster, and a drip coffee maker. There is also a gas grill on the covered dining porch.
Less than 10 miles off the Baxter exit, 7.5 miles to Cookeville Boat Dock, and 25 minutes to Cookeville.
Notes:
Four-wheel drive is not required to get to the house, but good tires are. The driveway is gravel and fairly steep. RVs are not permitted.
Security camera disclosure: Two security cameras are located on the exterior of the home, facing away from the house. One is mounted on the wrap-around porch, facing the upper parking area. The other is mounted under the wrap-around porch, facing the lower parking area. Both cameras record when motion activated and are operational 24/7. There are no interior devices or cameras. Cameras may not be obstructed, moved, or turned off.
Be prepared to be fully surrounded by nature! This means all the wonderful views and sounds, but there are also bugs and critters who share the land.
Property trails are open through fall and winter, but please use extra caution as you walk over the leaves. They hide rocks and small holes and ditches.
Infants and toddlers are welcome in our home. Please note that the home is not baby-proofed though, and there are long flights of stairs both inside and outside.
