This is the perfect spot for families to gather. The views were beautiful and the house was spacious and well appointed with everything you need. We were also very impressed by how clean and well maintained everything was!
Great views. Great location. Spent the week here after Christmas thru New Years with 4 generations of family and really enjoyed it. House was great and also enjoyed hiking and seeing all the waterfalls that are in the area.
Our family enjoyed the charm of this house. It boasts a spectacular view of Center Hill lake. Plenty of space with clean facilities. Highly recommend this place.
There is not a bad thing I can say about the house itself! It was way better than even pictures showed. The driveway is definitely no joke and was challenging for some cars (even SUV's) but everyone made it. And we would still stay there again!
This is a great house and setting on Center Hill Lake. Big and roomy with plenty of amenities. Great host- very responsive and proactive. This was our second time to hold a retreat here. Great spaces inside and out- decks, firepit, trail. Thanks Grant!
Our extended family of 10 all had a great time this past week. The trail down to the water is steep, but no problem to manage. We recommend tying a long rope to a tree to help less-mobile folks navigate
Host was accessible and easy to communicate with. There was an issue with the entry code upon arrival and Grant promptly resolved the issue. Beautiful home. Very clean. Large bedrooms. Views from the porch were amazing.
You know how you see pictures on a VRBO listing and they look amazing and then you get to the place and it’s just a total letdown? NOT THIS ONE!! The pictures actually don’t do this place justice. It’s even BETTER in person. It’s so amazing that when I posted about it on social media, at least five of my friends wanted the listing details! You’re going to love this place and the owner was great to work with!!
If I could give 10 stars I would! Pictures does not give this home justice. The view from every room is amazing!! The home is very clean and cozy. It accommodated our party well. This place will make you feel at home. Also, the beds are amazing and every room has its own bathroom. We will be planning another trip this summer to Center Lake and I sure hope this home is available!!
The house was gorgeous and the views were amazing. Not giving 5 stars because listing says no 4 wheel drive needed. You really do need it. Getting out up the very steep hill was difficult for one of the ladies in a minivan. If it had been raining I dont think we could have made it out. This will prevent us from coming back next year unfortunately. Which is a shame, because everything else was perfect.

Hi, Stacy:) Thank you for the kind words about the house. I’m glad you guys enjoyed it! I’m so sorry to hear someone had trouble with the driveway though. The reason we say that 4-wheel drive isn’t necessary is because we also have a mini-van, as well as a rear-wheel drive vehicle, and have never had a problem getting up the hill with either car. Even in the rain. We’ll work on our description though and try and be more clear. Thank you for the feedback.
After spending many years gathering in the smoky mountains, this year, my family decided to gather at the lake. We rented a boat and spent the day on Center Hill Lake. It was absolutely beautiful in the fall. Colors were fantastic. The house is extremely secluded with not another property in sight. The view surrounds the property and large windows expose an incredible view and almost every room on first floor. The house is very clean and well appointed.
Great time! House was as advertised. Beautiful views, very secluded and spacious. A little tricky initially arriving there at night but the directions were spot on. Read the owner's notes regarding the directions and you will be fine. 4 wheel drive IS NOT REQUIRED. Owner was responsive and easy to deal with. Would most definitely stay there again.
This was our second year at this location for a girls’ weekend trip and we had forgotten how incredibly beautiful the views are. It rained through the weekend and it was so peaceful and the view so striking we didn’t even miss getting out on the lake. The house is very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We loved our time there and look forward to going back.
A beautiful place to stay. Great house and wonderful views
This was a wonderful house with high end appliances and very comfortable beds! Wonderful kitchen! Fully stocked with everything you could need…. Just need your food and drinks of choice! Beautiful sitting and dining areas outside. Getting there the first time was a bit difficult ( single lane road; and address plaque no where to be found) but on the way out I wondered why I thought it was so difficult!! Ha! The host had actually given excellent detail instructions but I had been a bit intimidated by it all at first! But it’s very private and worth the effort!
The pictures do not do this house justice! Absolutely beautiful! A beautiful view of the lake!! Our family loved staying here. The house was so clean and has everything you need! Would stay here again and recommend to friends!!!
We had a great time. Grant was very easy to work with. The house was great, and as beautiful as advertised. The lake was great for swimming. We’ll be back!
The house is as good as it looks in pictures. The house is well stocked for a comfortable stay. The rooms were big and beds were all very comfortable.
We enjoyed meals on the porch and coffee each day on the wrap around porch. I would highly recommend this property for a group or family gathering. The communication was very clear and the owner was very prompt in answering any questions.
We had a 'siblings and spouses' reunion and chose this house due to its size and location between different states. Initially there were to be 9 of us, but due to illness there were 7. Having 3 masters with baths and a bunkroom was perfect. The bedrooms were exceptionally large. We had all of our meals in the house and it worked out very well. The grill was just off the kitchen and we used it several times. There are plenty of kitchen essentials and we did not lack for anything (we did take some everyday items - foil, plastic wrap, oil, grill spray). The kitchen table and outside eating space were used by everyone for game night as well as meals!
We rent a lot of homes and this was probably the cleanest of any home we have rented. The views are spectacular from the porch, and we thoroughly enjoyed swimming and kayaking in the cove, which we were able to get to from the trail to and from the house. Fantastic trip and would highly recommend this property.
This property is like staying at a cabin in the Smokey Mountains, but with a lake view to go along with it! I loved this place! The pictures don't do it justice. The drive into the property is adventurous, but it makes it a fun experience! I would definitely consider staying here again.
