Great property in a great location. It was fantastic that there were good quality pans and knives, which made cooking on site a breeze. The binder with suggestions for the area was super helpful and provided other options we hadn't even considered. Hands down, would stay here again.

We had a relaxing weekend at “The Porcupine Place.” It was just enough room for my husband and myself and our two sons who are in their 20’s. We were there for a wedding at Lake in the Clouds overlook in the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. It was beautiful and is a must see. We also went to Green Park which is only a 1/2 mile down the road and walked along Lake Superior. The home was clean, cozy and quiet. I could hear the waves of Lake Superior which was cool. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Our stay at Porcupine Place went very well. Instructions on how to get in was easy. They have a big binder that has other instructions plus detailed brochures on things to do in the areas with maps. It was very helpful. This house is a good size especially if you have more than 2 people. There is 3 bedrooms, full kitchen, dining room and living room. Limited space in the bathroom but it’s an older house and served our needs. There’s a deck going out the front door with places to enjoy the view. There are a lot of trees (which I love) and you can see the stars clearly if it’s a nice night out. Green park is just down the street and there’s another beach farther down in front of the Citgo. You can look for rocks and Yoopee lites there. This was a good place to have as our base of operations. We went up the Porkies, Old Victoria historic town, Sylvania Wilderness, explored waterfalls, and searched for rocks and yooperlites. Also had great food at Syls, Roxeys and porkies outpost. Thank you for the great visit

Used Porcupine Place as our base for hiking the Porcupine Mtn SP and exploring the area. Property was clean, well eqipped, and gave us a good location for the Porkies, Ontanogan, and other sites. We enjoyed our stay.
