Meh
The Good. The cabin was clean, well laid out, easy to find, great views, and comfortable beds. The location is right next to the main drag.
The Bad: We made our reservation and received a message on VRBO to contact them directly because they have a minimum stay for our dates. This felt very scammy. When I did call, the lady I spoke to said never mind about the minimum stay because there was no availability before or after our dates. I mentioned that their listing said nothing about a minimum stay. We received no further communication from them via VRBO (which is where I am used to receiving all communication). We arrived, and I checked my VRBO, and there was no info on how to get in. Luckily, we arrived 30 minutes before the office closed and were able to pay the balance of our stay - which is why they hadn't sent us our check-in info. I have almost always paid my balance through VRBO. I received no contact from them to do this. When we got into the cabin - there was no cabin binder. We didn't know how to work the gaming system or the hot tub. We also didn't know what we needed to do before we checked out. Two tv remotes and all of the gaming system controllers were dead. They showed up 8 hours later with batteries for the remotes. Told me the gaming remotes need a mini droid type charger - but didn't provide it to us. VERY loud partying neighbors all weekend. Hot tub was weirdly shallow. They offered me a 20% discount for my next stay with them. I won't be using it.
