Quiet holiday home near the beach

In one of the typical, romantic little streets, in the district La Playa of the Valle Gran Rey, lies the holiday home »El Rincón de Aítana«. The house, quiet and central, offers up to six people a perfect starting point for many leisure activities - it is just as close to the two beaches of the Valle Gran Rey, as well as the bars and restaurants of the sun-drenched valley.

The entrance of the completely renovated house leads from the lane directly into the spacious kitchen. The modern ambience radiates a pleasant and bright atmosphere. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a 2-plate stove, electric grill and a large fridge-freezer. A toaster and a German and Spanish coffee machine complete the facilities.

The living area has a sofa bed and a satellite TV. Through the living area leads into the two bedrooms, which are located in the back of the house and give even on hot days, pleasant cool. The two bedrooms each have a wardrobe - in one bedroom there is a double bed 150x200cm, in the other there are two single beds 90x200cm. Two extra beds are also available.

The bathroom has a shower, toilet and a sink.

An open staircase, with thick hand ropes, leads from the living room to the large roof terrace. Various seating areas, as well as sun loungers invite you to linger all day long. A parasol provides pleasant shade. How nice is it to spend the night under the stars! One of the nicest accommodations in our assortment.

Hervorragende Lage nur 1,5 Min von der Strandpromenade. Die Wohnung vor Ort war anfangs schwer zu finden, da die Beschreibung nicht mehr ganz stimmte. Wer viel mit dem Mietwagen fährt, kann sich auf eine regelmäßige Parkplatzsuche gefasst machen. Die Wohnung selber ist für vier Personen ausreichend groß, aber sehr dunkel, da es wenig Fenster gibt. Ein Schlafzimmer hat sogar nur ein Fake-Fenster. Die Dachterrasse ist riesig. Allerdings war sie bei uns mit einem gewöhnungsbedürftigem LED Licht bestückt, dass man nicht abschalten konnte. Dadurch war es nachts ein wenig ungemütlich dort oben aber vermutlich hat das Licht einen ganz bestimmten Zweck. Ein Geschirrspüler und eine Klimaanlage wäre zwar schön gewesen, es ging aber auch ohne. im Großen und Ganzen ist die Wohnung nicht mehr auf dem aktuellsten Stand, aber es war alles okay und sauber. Insofern alles gut.

Gut ausgestattetes Apartment in netter Lage. Wie schon von anderen Rezensenten angemerkt ist die Dachterrasse ein besonderes Highlight zB fürs Frühstück und nach dem Sonnenuntergang (zum Sterne beobachten). Danke!

Ruhig, zentral, nahe am Meer, schöne Dachterrasse

Die Wohnung ist so wie vom Vermieter beschrieben: ruhig, zentral, nahe am Meer, schöne Dachterrasse. Die üblichen Dinge waren da (Waschmaschine, WiFi). Handyempfang in der Wohnung schlecht, aber im Tal meist o.k. (diese Sache liegt aber an der allgemeinen Netzversorgung im Tal). Insbesondere die Dachterrasse haben wir sehr gerne genutzt und der Weg zum Strand war mit ca. 100 Metern stets eine Einladung zum Baden. Auch die Restaurants und Supermärkte lagen gleich um die Ecke. Die beiden Schlafzimmer haben nur ein kleines Fenster zum Nachbarhaus - ohne Tageslicht. Das ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, dafür sind die Zimmer aber angenehm kühl. Wir hatten die Wohnung mit 2 Personen belegt und würden diese wieder anmieten. Eine Belegung von 6 Personen wäre unseres Erachtens sehr eng.

Mittendrin in La Playa

Bei herrlichem "Winterwetter" konnten wir (älteres Ehepaar) wunderschöne Ferientage auf Gomera verbringen. Das kleine "Haus" haben wir wie beschrieben und sauber vorgefunden. Mittendrin in La Playa. Gerade aus der Haustür und schon beim Bäcker beim Market oder am Hauptstrand. Auf der großen, netten Dachterrasse konnten wir frühstücken und die Zeit nach den Wanderungen entspannt genießen. Bei schönem Wetter kann man bis lange in der Nacht dort verweilen. Der Klang der Trommler am Strand dringt leise, aber nicht störend nach oben. Unten in der mit unzähligen Kübeln voller Blumen und Gewächsen geschmückten Gasse reden die Menschen, in Deutsch oder Spanisch. Abends und vor allem nachts wird es angenehm ruhig. Die Sonne ist auf der Terrasse am Nachmittag um diese Zeit allerdings schon früh verschwunden, da die umgebenden Wände der nahen anderen Häuser den Blick zu ihr und in die Ferne versperren. Dafür ist es windgeschützt und wir konnten nachts lange in den Sternenhimmel sehen. Bei schlechtem Wetter wird der Aufenthalt im Wohnbereich etwas eingetrübt, da nur wenig Tageslicht herein fällt. Das Bad ist recht klein, aber funktional, die Dusche etwas eng, hat aber genug heißes Wasser. Nicht für 6 Personen geeignet. Canarianfeeling als Vermittler hat alles gut, zuverlässlich und sachlich abgewickelt. Gerne wieder!
