This unit shares the washer and dryer as well as the outdoor shower with the other duplex unit. There is a secured access alley between the two units that makes it possible to rent both for parties of up to nine guests. Inquire with us if you are interested in booking both units!

This location is VERY walkable to restaurants, shops, rental stores and all the best beach spots.

No Pets Policy: Please note that this listing maintains a strict No Pet Policy. The owner has allergies, and we cannot permit any animals on the property. Sorry!

Memorial Day weekend stay

House was great! Cozy and updated in a perfect location to walk to the beach and Belmont park. Short drive to sea world and gas lamp! We did it all and will definitely be back!

This unassuming property from the outside is superbly located, tastefully decorated and very well-equipped! I look forward to staying there again on my next visit to San Diego.

Beach 2 Bay getaway

We totally enjoyed this getaway home. If you don’t mind some street noise, it’s a perfect location to everything Mission Beach/Bay. Nicely upgraded and comfortable for our stay. The staff was very responsive to questions.

Great Location for Beach Vacation

Our family had a great stay at Beach2Bay. From start to finish everything was on point. Communication prior to arrival, cleanliness, accuracy of listing all perfect. On site laundry and off street parking really enhances the stay. We walked 1 block to the ocean every day- beautiful surf, sand and sunsets. Many great restaurants within close proximity. We will be back for sure!

Wonderful stay in a great location!

The rental is in an ideal location a block from the beach and bay -- gorgeous in either direction! There is a bodega just steps away so we made breakfast every morning. We found lots of sand dollars at night on the beach. Everything we were hoping for was within walking distance, even to the dock for a sunset cruise on the bay. Would definitely recommend!

5 ⭐ - Just like the pictures

We were lucky enough to stay at this great unit for a week! Great location, within walking distance to Belmont Park and Pacific Beach. Near bars, restaurants, liquor store / market, and of course both the bay and the beach! The property is very clean, nicely remodeled, and the garage is a HUGE plus! The property looks just like the pictures. VERY clean, relaxing, inviting, and enjoyable. It was surprisingly quiet being right in the heart of Mission Beach! Highly recommended!!!!

A Very Nice Place. Obviously recieves lots of care and upkeep.

Although the space was not utilized for the purpose we rented it (overflow from a nearby house we rent every year but the original party had an emergency and could not come) we were able to use it a couple days for another set of friends and then to give us a bit more room). It is an awesome space and could not be more comfortable and is certainly kept nice.

San Diego trip

This is definitely a 5 star home. I use a cane and have difficulty walking, and the distance one way to the Bay, and the other direction to the beach was such a God send for being able to enjoy my favorite place. I love the beach, and this was perfect. The home is lovely, clean, and has everything you could need. The communication with the host was the best I've ever experienced. Prompt and clear instructions on anything we needed for help.

Awesome

This was an awesome spot to land. The home is awesome perfect for two people. 1 block from the Ocean and 1 block from the Bay. Lots of small businesses to go to that are awesome. Olive Cafe and Lemon Coffee shop were our favorites. The car noise from Mission Blvd was a little loud during the day, but not at night. We were not there during the day anyway. I would recommend this home to anyone.

Great location, could use some touches

Great location, close to everything. Cute house, perfect for 2, any more and you'd be stepping all over each other. The downsides, zero at home touch that you usually find at VRBO rentals, like seasonings, condiments, coffee, water. There is a washer & dryer outside, but not 1 soap pod or packet, Probably could use a new machine, the dryer makes a ton of noise, and the lint filter is damaged, so caught and tore one of my shirts, took 3 times of restarting to finally dry our load. The bed is not very comfortable, leans on the hard side. Super cute place though, just don't expect too much, as stated above.

Nice little home in a nice little neighbor

Loved staying here. Walk out your front door, turn the corner walk behind your house and a little block and you’re at the bay. Down the sidewalk is a Starbucks, and BelleMont Park. If you want to go to the beach, just walk out the front door. Cross the street and walk down a little block and you’re at the beach. It’s the perfect location. I love that there is a sound machine provided in the bedroom for the street. It’s noises during the day but not crazy “party” noise. Just normal cars driving by. It didn’t bother us or my little one year old. We did cheat and bring our baby and 3 kids. So total of 6 of us. And there outside camera found that. They are strict on the 4 person limit. So follow it or pay fines LOL. We had a great time and would come back!

Newly renovated cottage 1 block to the beach or bay

My husband and I loved our stay at this cute cottage! We enjoyed having coffee in the mornings on the front porch glider swing and chats in the evenings. The cottage is very tastefully decorated with a fun beach atmosphere! It is only a block to the beach or bay. The outside shower is an extra nice bonus to be able to rinse off after a day at the beach (hot & cold water). If you have room, you should bring your own beach towels. While at the beach, we saw some dolphins in the ocean! We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back again! It was nice to also have a garage -- large enough to accommodate our Honda Odyssey van. The reason for the 4-star review for location is because it is next to a busy street with some road noise, but it didn't interfere with our stay. They have pictures in the cabinets and drawers so we new where to return items, which was very beneficial! Our host Rich was very easy to communicate with and responded very quickly to our questions. Horrible experience

This review based on our experience as we rented this unit for 7 days. During our stay, we had been dealing with so many issues but the reason that drove us out early was we felt like we were being watched and our privacy had been compromised. We contacted the owner and expressed our concerns and requested for a refund for the unused nights (we were ghosted out and the owner refused to refund, we contacted VRBO as well but no help either). We want people to be aware of what we went thru before spend their hard earned money. Pros: - Location: less than 5 minutes walk to the beach Cons: - The unit is right on the main road with see thru shades and busy street noise, if you are a light sleeper and need privacy. This is not for you. - The mattress has zero firmness left and needs to be replaced as you will sink in it…We were not able to sleep the whole time we were there. - If you are planning to work there, think again as the internet has never worked for us with numerous complaints and promises. - The main blanket is dirty with many stains on it and the stuffing has come out, so we looked for a backup blanket but it just got worst as it seems to have fresh blood stain on it…assuming that none of these blankets have gotten washed prior to our arrival. - There is only one a/c in the living room and cannot go below 72 degree and it will not reach the bedroom - The light on the ceiling fan in the bedroom cannot be turned on unless you want to sleep with the light on. - The shower curtain has significant mold on it and could not be missed if someone had cleaned the tub. It has been replaced later as we reported it to the owner. - Beside the renters are being charged for the cleaning fees and we are supposed to clean up everything before we leave, the unit is still filthy and the cleanliness is below par. - Lastly, there are security cameras everywhere which is good for your safety until it’s used to watch you! So, if you don’t mind being watched and the reasons above…then you will love this property.

Arrived to an uncleaned vacation rental

I hate to do this but have to be honest about my stay. I arrived with my infant in the evening and the unit was found not cleaned from the previous traveler that day. The bed was stripped and all of the dirty linens in the bathroom tub. I reached out to the property manager and he confirmed that no cleaners came out this afternoon. I moved the dirty laundry to the closet, made the bed and cleaned with. my own wipes the surfaces. I was asked to leave the next morning for the cleaners to do a proper cleaning. I was traveling with a one year and this was totally unexpected. I asked the property manager for a refund on the cleaning fee and first night and was only given a small refund. The unit itself is great, fantastic location and I love the attached garage. Wifi was spotty at best.
