Spring Break

The room was clean for the most part. The only thing I noticed that wasn’t very clean were the floors in the bathroom area. The mattress wasn’t great and neither were the majority of the pillows. There were two large pillows that were super comfortable which definitely helped. I liked how the hotel was super close to a lot of restaurants and target. The breakfast they served was pretty good and there were a decent amount of options to choose from each day. unfortunately the hot tub was closed, had dirty water in it, and was taped off with caution tape. It would’ve been really helpful considering the pool was not heated. My son is seven and kids usually don’t care how cold water is, they just want to swim. He ended up having to get out because he was so cold. The weather was between 80 and 90 and no clouds all week. We spent one day at the pool and spent the rest of the vacation driving up to the island and got day passes to resorts. They did allow you to use the pool at the hotel next-door but it was inconvenient. The staff was friendly and I felt safe. I will add I’m not sure how safe the surrounding neighborhood is because I traveled to a gas station about a mile away and felt a little uncomfortable, but the opposite way where Target was, was great. Overall good stay for the price!
