This is an amazing property that can be both a relaxing, get away from it all experience and at the same time be an adventure with the family. The river was beautiful, kayaking was a blast, had a bald eagle fly 10 feet over our heads. My family had a great time and we would love to book this again for a future stay.

We had the best family vacation at the cabin. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and walking our dog down to the river. We had many nights of family ping-pong tournaments, puzzles, and games. We had everything we needed to cook our meals.We really didn’t even have to leave the property. Everything was perfect! It was beautiful and peaceful, it would definitely like to go back.

Liz was great! Everything as described. We caught quite a few fish and used the kayaks. Cabin was very clean and has everything you need except the linens which is mentioned, you need to bring your own sheets and pillow cases. Cabin had everything else you need. Very secluded and peaceful. We had a great time. Will come back! THANKS LIZ!!

Clean house, nice property, well equipped kitchen and bathrooms, however we were very disappointed only one air conditioning unit in one bedroom, not both, as well no sheets on the beds. Otherwise a very nice location and had a great time.

This place was everything we wanted and more. Having morning coffee on the porch with the the humming birds was beautiful and relaxing. The near by town was charming and inviting. The short walk to the eagles deck provided an amazing view of the river. We found the house very accommodating and the beds were soft and conformable. We picked The Knoll because it is close to Bethel Woods but it was difficult to leave the peaceful setting to see the concert. Being able to bring our dogs and the ease of communication with the host made the trip all the more enjoyable. We definitely plan on returning.

This was our 5th time staying at the Knoll. It never disappoints. Each year there are small upgrades (deck by the river, steps to the bank, AC, etc.). We look forward to returning again next year.

Had an awesome long weekend at The Knoll. The house was perfect. Cozy, clean and very welcoming. The deck on the river was great to sit and take in the view. Got to see the bald eagle who lives across the river. Sitting on the couch watching the fire was a great time. A perfect weekend.

We had a wonderful time at The Knoll! This was the first house I've rented that felt like a home. Real people live here. It has plenty of blankets, pillows, box fans, etc. The kitchen is fully equipped. We loved it. We lost electricity for 12 hours while we were there and the owner offered to refund us, but luckily it came back on and we were able to stay. My kids all want to go back soon.

Thanksgiving at The Knoll was great. We had a very nice time and the accommodations were just as hat we had hoped for!

We have been hosting guests since 2009. The Knoll is a unique cabin and the Delaware River is a gorgeous spot that we want to share with others.

Why they chose this property

As soon as we drove the dirt road to look at the cabin, we had a feeling, this is what we have been searching for. The cabin sits on the Delaware River, beautiful in any season. It is so remote, quiet - a true get-away.

What makes this property unique

The rockers on the front porch offer hours of reading or deep discussions over a cup of coffee and a glass of wine. The deck remains our favorite, looking over the river where a couple of bald eagles are nesting. The crystal clear river offers swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking, or simply some old fashioned rock skipping. The area is quiet and there is much nature to observe. The cabin is quaint, charming and has everything you need.
