Wonderful stay in a perfect location with a great view

We had a wonderful stay in this holiday home in Boulogne-sur-Mer! The accommodation is really beautiful - clean, nice furnished and very comfortable. We were particularly impressed by the marvellous view of the cathedral, which made the experience even more special. The location of the house is just perfect, everything is within walking distance, which made the stay very pleasant. Communication with the host was extremely friendly and helpful - we felt well looked after at all times. All in all, it was a great stay that we can only recommend. Thank you very much for the wonderful time!

Good choice near the centre

Old but well refurbished house. The kitchen is missing key items like a bread knife and oven gloves and be aware there is a camera operational in the livingroom which is inappropriate.hifprivacy.and inappropriate

Es war ein Vergnügen, mit dieser Gruppe zu sprechen. Das Brotmesser sowie die Handschuhe für warme Speisen sind in einem Schrank vorhanden. Für die Kamera ist es zweifellos ein Versehen von uns, weil wir systematisch bitten, bei der Ankunft den Stecker zu ziehen, alle unsere Entschuldigungen, da wir offensichtlich vergessen haben! Die Kamera dient natürlich auch, wenn das Haus nicht vermietet ist.

Nice but…..

Nice property but listing is not clear about bedding and towels. For clarity the duvet and pillows are included but not the sheets and covers or towels. Also it was a bit weird there is a camera in the lounge. This did switch off after the first hour of being in the property.

In the description, it is indicated that the linen is not provided just read this one. As for the camera, it was indeed forgotten at the very beginning but as you saw, it was turned off quickly.

Beautiful Holiday Home

The holiday home is beautifully furnished and offers plenty of space for the whole family. The roof terrace offers a beautiful view towards the historic city center. Having smaller children it was a little bit complicated at nights because the bedrooms are one the upper floor and the only toilet on the lower floor. This is because the stairs are very steep. The neigborhood is quiet and most destinations in town are easily accessible on foot. The city is significantly hillier than expected which can be a challenge for children or older people. Our host was always very friendly and helpful and was never further away than a WhatsApp message.

Tolles Objekt, schöne Terrasse mit super Blick auf die Altstadt und Kathedrale, Haus ist gemütlich und freundlich/hell eingerichtet. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Es war alles da. Franck war als Gastgeber jederzeit erreichbar.Versorgung zu Fuss gut möglich. Lage sehr ruhig, da Haus ausschließlich über kleine Treppenanlage erreichbar ist. Was kein Problem ist.Die gebührenpflichtige Endreinigung und Notwendigkeit einer Miete / Mitnahme von Bettwäsche & Handtüchern ist in der deutschen Übersetzung nicht enthalten / ersichtlich. Franck hat in dem Kontakt nach unserer Buchung aber darauf hingewiesen.

Verblijf gedurende ronde van Frankrijk

Huis dicht bij centrum. Opgelet voor mensen die minder mobiel zijn. Huis te bereiken via straat met trappen. Ook binnenshuis steile smalle trap naar kamers. Bovendien boven geen toilet. De huisbaas is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Allle keukengerief is aanwezig en van goede kwaliteit.

C’est assez surprenant, car s’il faut éviter les endroits avec les escaliers, à chaque fois qu’il y a des enfants, il va falloir éliminer 90 % des endroits l’on peut aller.

Sehr entspannend

Die Wohnung liegt an einer Treppe, das könnte wichtig sein zu wissen. Wir wurden im Vorfeld gut mit Parktips versorgt, was gut geklappt hat. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es war sehr ruhig, wir konnten alles zu Fuß erreichen und abends auf der Terasse den Tag ausklingen lassen.

Sympathique petite maison de ville

Le séjour s'est très bien passé. L'hôte est resté très disponible. La maison était ok mais, pour nous, il manquait quelques petites choses comme un seche cheveux, une poubelle dans la salle de bain etc. Le wc fuit ... cela serait peut-etre bien d'y remédier. Dans l'ensemble tout etait sympa !

Logement de charme

Nous sommes venus pour un week-end avec des amis pour la visite de nausica. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Très bon contact avec Franck qui nous a donné des consignes précieuse pour se garer et accéder au logement. En ce qui concerne l'emplacement , nous n'avons pas touché à nos voiture du week-end, nous avons absolument tout fait à pied avec nos 3 enfants en bas âge, même le trajet vers nausicaa (compter 20 min). Le logement est calme, relativement bien situé, et sa terrasse en fait un lieu d'exception avec une vue directe sur la basilique. Petit plus, Franck nous a offert quelques heures de plus avant le départ, ce qui est vraiment très sympathique de sa part et montre son investissement dans sa gestion. Il était d'ailleurs présent pour nous accueillir à l'arriver. Bref, pour un week end sur Boulogne, foncez.
