About the host
Your host

Marketer, surfer, dad, long-time Seattleite. University of Washington undergrad and MBA degrees. All around nice person.
Favorite destinations: Sayulita, Hawaii, LA, SF, Austin, Provence, London, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Prague, Budapest, Amsterdam. Would like to get to Denmark, Poland, and Fiji before too long.
My approach as a guest and host is to leave things as I found them and to enjoy my space and let others enjoy theirs. Happy to mingle but not a requirement for a good stay.

Why they chose this property
The space
Perfect blend of quiet, comfortable and close to everything you might want to do for work or play. After exploring our beautiful city or our famous natural landscapes, retreat to a clean, relaxing apartment in a peaceful neighborhood.
Guest access
You are welcome to use the apartment, the patio directly opposite the entry door, and the dedicated parking spot in the driveway (accessed from the alley) during your stay. To maximize privacy for you and your neighbors, please enter and exit the property exclusively via the alley behind the house.
Other things to note
This is a daylight walkout apartment in the bottom floor of a 2-story, mid-century house. As with many older buildings/apartments, the ceiling joists may sometimes creak as people upstairs -- my teenage daughter and I, in this case -- move about. We do not wear shoes in the house and are otherwise as quiet as church mice. Guest ratings for this unit have been consistently high for 2+ years. If you are concerned about potential ceiling noise, please consider bringing noise-cancelling headphones, earplugs, or booking a free-standing house, backyard cottage, or other space with no shared walls/ceilings.

What makes this property unique
Seattle is a city of many urban villages, each with their own charms. Madison Valley / the Arboretum has been my charming village for 18 years.
