Cozy Rico Cabin
Recently renovated in Spring 2021, this 1 bedroom cabin has a super comfy king sized bed. Also adjacent to the bedroom through French doors there is a "nook" that hosts a twin sized bed, great for adult or child to sleep or just for relaxing and reading! The living room has two big overstuffed chairs, great for cozying up in front of gas "wood stove". Also counter hight table and chairs that are a great work or breakfast space with nice views! There are great mountain views both on the front porch and back deck with plenty on sunshine! Hiking, biking trails right out the door. Easily walk to to river or down town to grab a bite to eat or cup of coffee!

We had a great stay in this historic cabin. The host provided excellent communication and our expectations were exceeded. I personally appreciated the mix of modern conveniences/upgrades with the retention of character-defining historic features. We plan on returning again soon.
It was a very nice place. Rey clean and very cozy atmosphere. The location was perfect and walking distance to most of the town. Communication with owner was easy and very responsive We will book again
The cabin was perfect for our short stay, and we could cover both telluride and mesa verde from rico. The only thing that could made it even better was a better coffee machine!

Thank you for being a great guest!! So glad you enjoyed your stay😊 I honestly had no idea about the coffee maker. Thank you for the heads up!!
The photos didnt do it justice. It was a great little town with such a small town feel and nice folks. It was just the right distance to Telluride and hardly any traffic. The home had such a personal touch to it…
Very nicely stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed. Home away from home! Had a wonderful time! Steps away to hiking and beautiful mountains. The little town of Rico is so charming. We walked down to a charming cafe “fireweed” for coffee and breakfast.

Thank you again for staying at my cabin!! Y’all were great guest🙏✌️😁😁😁
Come stay anytime😉🌈🦋
This was a great property with everything we needed. It's rustic (floors slant a bit, there was a crank missing from a window opener) but nicely updated and the bed was SO COMFORTABLE. And it was extremely quiet. We could cook meals and do our laundry in the quaint, open space, and I LOVED taking a bath in the clawfoot tub. I would recommend for anyone looking for a nice Colorado cabin experience in a quiet mountain town.

This cabin is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and has everything you will need. The bed was so comfortable and it was great to watch the snow falling from it! There are so many little details in this place that makes it a truly authentic mountain, mining-town experience. Annie was the best host and made sure we knew about everything in the area. You will love this place! We will definitely return. We love Rico! Make sure you get to the Prospector—it's been my favorite for years and never disappoints.

Everything about this Cozy Cabin met or exceeded our expectations! It was spacious, well stocked, clean and everything worked. Easy to find in a beautiful location. Highly recommend!
Lovely place to stay near Telluride and much more affordable than actually staying in Telluride. Place was clean and has everything we needed. Would stay again.
This little cabin is a renovated older structure built on a hillside. While it has other little cabins and homes on the street, it was a very quiet and peaceful place. It was filled with everything you need including soaps, linens, and all paper products. Since it is on a hill, it does have steps inside up to various rooms. The heaters work great for chilly nights and the large windows gave us lots of fresh air during the day. The owner is very communicative and easy to work with on places to get groceries, hikes to take, or current road conditions. It is perfect fit for a couple and one other person. I would recommend it if you want to have lots of peace and quiet located in a small mountain town!
