About this property

Enjoy this new, cozy, peaceful cabin in the woods. Unplug and relax or hike and whitewater raft! Close to Ocoee River Rafting, 25 min to Blue Ridge, GA; 25 min to Appalachian Trailhead in Blairsville; 45 min to Helen, GA. 70 miles to Chatanooga. The roads are rough, not suitable for a low riding vehicle.

Gorgeous all wood cabin in the mountains. This truly is more of an unplug and explore and relax getaway. There are two tvs and blu ray players with plenty of family/kid games and movies to choose from. Both bedrooms have a queen sized bed and there is a twin floor futon that a small child could sleep on, if necessary. This cabin is newer, and only satellite internet is available, which is why there isn't streaming available at this time. You can look things up, but streaming isn't in the cards. The idea here is to enjoy nature!

Christmas trip

We had a great time spending Christmas in this cabin! I can't think of anything wrong with it. Would definitely stay again. Jody was very helpful with any questions we had and provided abundant snacks and anything we may have forgotten.

Our First Fall

"Pawz and Relax" is a wonderful, pet friendly, cabin in the woods! My first true "Fall" in my entire life and it did not disappoint. Cabin is up the hill and around the corner, wish I had four wheel drive 😂 The driveway is unpaved, so for newbies to the terrain it required some skill. Jody was a pleasure to work with, the cabin was quiet, peaceful and pet friendly. We brought our fur kids and they had a great time going on our morning walks in the area. All the different smells and textures....they had a blast! This cabin has everything you need to just get away and refresh your soul, we can't wait to come back next year 🥰 Shannon & William

Review of Pawz and Relax Cabin

This cabin was very clean and well stocked. It was located in a new area but very private and quiet. The road is very ruff to use. Saw deer every night just sitting on the back deck. The cabin was "dog friendly" and our dog "Socks" really enjoyed herself as well. Perfect for me, my wife and dog. Would recommend to others.

I currently live in FL and love being close to the ocean…however, I missed the mountains. I decided to do a short term rental so I can stay in FL AND visit the mountains regularly with my pup. This is why I chose to make it a pet friendly cabin.

Why they chose this property

It’s nearly new and gorgeous. It is near Murphy, but also very close to Blue Ridge, GA and whitewater rafting on the Ocoee! This cabin is a 25 min drive to Blue Ridge for less than half what a short term rental there would cost you.
