About this property
6 Bedroom Villa 4* Grasse Absolute calm swimming pool 10x4 Panorama sea mountain
Family house… in absolute calm!
At 300 meters above sea level with a view of the Mediterranean in the distance ...
it is a family and friendly life project, with its large receptions (table 12 covers), swimming pool (10 x 4), terraces and equipped beach (12 deckchairs and Chilean), pétanque field 12 meters; And its 6 bedrooms including 5 with Queen size bed, and their 4 bathrooms!
It welcomes our children, their own children and our friends. It is also thought of to satisfy a few hosts just as much ... like you! We aimed at the sun of Grasse, the sunniest city in France, its softness and its light in all seasons. We wanted the proximity of the Mediterranean and its magnificent sandy beaches, and that of walks and hikes where the reward is to contemplate wild places and its old medieval villages unchanged for centuries with often the chance of incredible panoramas on the Coast d'Azur de Nice at Esterel ... even further (Saint Tropez or Corsica!). And being able to go skiing less than 45 minutes from this enchanting magical place that sees sea, mountains and hill! Of course ...
We also wanted to be able to go and play golf course (around twenty including 13, nearby) and tennis!
During our research, we had been praised the Grassoise Tuscany, this enchanting Peyloubet hill which would have been shaped by Italian agricultural workers who came to Grasse at the great era of the peak of flower culture. This hill wearing a small wood, at the foot of which the fields of the most famous flowers stretched, was a huge olive grove. A paradise which remained so and which was even embellished by these Italians who brought there the majestic cypresses dotting the olive groves and then giving it this air of Italy, this perfume of Tuscany, a Tuscany with accents of the south of France on the borders of the Provence of yesteryear!
We found it and acquired in 2023 when we were despairing and resolved to stop our research! It was our last visit ...
And it was in front of this Tuscany Gussee that we found the Ousta Baio. Everything we were looking for there ... and even more! The view of the sea (Baie de Mandelieu) and that of the Grasse Tuscany that we hoped without believing it so much is rare this privilege!
Everything is concentrated within a radius of 30 minutes, medieval villages, sea, mountain, skiing ... and Grasse 5 minutes! We called it the Ousta Baio, as a tribute to this project finally carried out:
- The prefix Ousta and the Sonore of Baio refers to the Provencal name "Oustado" which designates the family house or the household
- where Baio attests that this family house sees the sea, the bay (baio) of Mandelieu/ Gulf of La Napoule!
The Ousta Baio carries in him these desires that we are happy to share with our hosts, with you who have chosen it to undoubtedly some same desires that have worn us so far. His own story is vines and olive trees; This is why vines and 15 olive trees are still there! He is on Magagnosc, one of the three hamlets of Grasse with Placassier and the plan. Magagnosc is undoubtedly at the origin of the Tannerie in Grasse, which sparked perfumery (initially gloves). Then, olive growing, older than floral culture, marked the landscape for a long time by many cultivation terraces. In the 19th century, the culture of violet was experiencing significant expansion, thanks in particular to irrigation. Magagnosc is nowadays the residential area of Grasse with its annex town hall.
So, be welcome, take advantage of everything within sight of the Ousta Baio when you live there, walking or cycling or even a few kilometers by car.
