The hot tub was noisy and the jets were very weak. The view was amazing and the house was beautiful. It would be nice if your guests had the basic ingredience in the cupboard. Salt, pepper. Oil and a couple washing machine detergent pods.

Thank you for staying with us at Cherokee Vista and for your review. We sincerely apologize that the hot tub was noisy and that essential items such as salt and pepper, cooking oil, and laundry detergent were not provided during your stay. Your feedback is important to us, and we have shared your concerns with the appropriate team for review and improvement. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again in the near future.
We were celebrating a friend of ours who loves hiking and the mountains. This cabin was super cute and very conveniently located. The pictures on the listing really don't do it justice. We had a great time! My only negative would be that GPS doesn't pick up the cabin so you have to go old school and read the directions from the paper which didn't feel super safe while driving up/down large hills LOL. So make sure you have a copilot!

We are so happy to hear that you had a great girl's trip and found the cabin to be better than the pictures! We love your co-pilot idea when you have to go old school and read directions ! Thanks for sharing your kind review and we hope you find your way back to us soon!
The house is on the newer side and absolutely beautiful. Has that rustic cabin feel but with all the modern amenities and style one would expect in 2022. Amazing views and very quiet. Made use of both the outside fire pit as well as the outdoors fireplace located on the deck. Hot tub was a plus. Rooms are very large with each having its own good size TV. We used the indoor table shuffle board game every night. A very short ride into Blue Ridge which has all that you’ll need for your stay. Couldn’t have been happier especially for a last minute escape. Definitely recommend.

Everything was excellent except for the 20 hours we were without water. Couldn't shower, wash dishes, use the bathroom, etc. We were unsure about cooking with the water after it came back. We were promised a call first thing Thursday morning which did not happen. When we called w

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the water outage during your stay. While the water loss was beyond our control, we understand how frustrating it was to be without water and appreciate your patience while we worked to resolve this issue.
We regret the delay in communication and have reviewed our processes to prevent this in the future. Your input helps us improve, and we hope that our efforts to make things right were mutually beneficial to both of us. We’d love the chance to host you again for a smoother, more enjoyable stay.
The cleaning standards of the cabin require significant improvement. It's unclear who is receiving the cleaning fee, as the cleanliness of the space was subpar, evidenced by sticky floors in certain areas, Tostitos found under beds, and beer caps scattered in various corners. Additionally, the amount of dust accumulated on some windows was notably excessive. Contrary to the impression given by the promotional photos, the cabin is not secluded; instead, there are several other cabins within close proximity. The approach to the cabin, including the surrounding neighborhood, leaves much to be desired, with several visibly abandoned houses raising concerns about both the type of residents in the vicinity and the overall safety of the area. The cabin's redeeming quality lies in its appearance, as shown in the advertising photos—it is aesthetically pleasing and well-decorated. However, despite this, I cannot in good conscience recommend this location.
