About this property

The Best Beach House “Get-A-Way” in Florida

This oversized, 4000 sq. foot multifamily building is split into three totally separate townhomes. Each of which lives as a separate house-- very quiet, private and the best part of all is that you have THREE MILES OF PRIVATE BEACHFRONT -- many days, it’s all completely to yourself-- 50 steps from your front porch. As we all know, this just does not exist in many places anymore. And I don't just mean blah, blah, beachfront, I mean a beautiful beachfront that's an adult’s, as well as a kid’s paradise. Kids and dogs run free, all of which can be watched over from the large, private front porch, holding a drink in hand and nap ‘round the corner. Just look at my pictures. I have grandchildren and there is no, I repeat no place, they would rather be than at the beach house at St. Teresa. We go as often as we can- which is why anytime it's not rented, we’re there. Another year or two and I will stop renting it again. There’s a reason why there are only 3 or 4 rentals on all of St. Teresa Beach- it’s priceless. Go see for yourself. You'll go back, I promise.

True beach house, gorgeous beach!
Great space that opens onto a lovely, uncrowded, beautiful beach! For us, to be able to have the living room and primary bedroom each open onto this spacious screened-in porch, which is 20 steps from the ocean was absolutely perfect! We sure hope to come back!

Beach Perfection without Crowds
I knew nothing about this part of the Florida coast before this stay in Saint Teresa. It was just exceptional- historic, laid back, and without crowds of people. And to think that we were there during spring break!! The house is simply but tastefully and artfully furnished.Everything is just so pretty. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and cooking vessels we needed. You could not ask for a more beautiful beach setting to wonder on or a more relaxing porch and yard from which to enjoy it. David was an accessible and helpful host. Would love to go back!

Just as described, only better!
We had a lovely 2 week stay. The pictures dont due justice to just how close you are to the beach. Although the house is comfortably decorated, the screen porch is the best room in the house and the icing on the cake. The area is remote but everything you might need is a pleasant 20-30 minute drive. The couple staying next door (for a month) were here for the 3rd year in a row and we can understand why. Dave was a wonderful host and worked with us when a family emergency looked like it might derail our plans. We hope to return in the future.

Perfect Beachside Vacation
The beach just feet away from your door is what makes this property. We loved being far from the nearest fast food chains and tourist attractions and having a spot that is all about the ability to wander the beach and observe the wildlife - including white squirrels and osprey! Incredibly comfy beds and a fantastic set up for spending hours on the porch watching the waves while it rained.

I've lived in Florida for over 20 years total; Tallahassee is my home. I spend a lot of my time at this beach house, working remotely and only rent it very few times per year. It's a one of a kind place, you won't soon forget how special this place is.

Why they chose this property

I've lived in homes and stayed in vacation spots around the world. From San Francisco, to Kathmandu, Nepal. From Paris to a remote parts of Belize. St. Teresa Beach is just a special place. You have to see it to understand. Don't get me wrong, I love Rosemary Beach Florida (was just there), Miami, Malibu, CA and even BoraBora, which is a complete rip off, but this place can hang with them all.

What makes this property unique

Right on the gulf, period. You just don't find true ocean front places anymore, without lots of people.
