The kitchen comes with everything to prepare meals, Keurig coffee pot, dishwasher, washer & dryer, a covered porch on canal, fire pit, bbq, place to dock a 24ft boat with electricity. It’s within walking distance to town, establishments and Algonac State Park. There is also great fishing in the area and several fishing tournaments throughout the year. It’s within seconds from the St. Clair River and minutes from the St. Clair Flats, Lake St.Clair and Harsens Island. This area is great for boating, duck hunting, fishing or just relaxing!

Relaxing Retreat on a canal

Great communication with the owner. Quick responses and a great property. Jody was quick to deal with the only issue that came up (Internet went down and she contacted customer service and had it fixed in under 30 min). I highly recommend this property for a relaxing weekend of fishing.

The online pictures indicate a couch in the living room, but once there, only a futon was in the room. A couple of light bulbs were out/missing, but that was minor. The biggest issue was that I was charged extra for a 5th guest, but only 4 towels were provided. Otherwise the house was clean and the internet/tv worked very well.

Thank you for the review. I do not charge extra for a 5th person. I did review your charges and you were not charged for a 5th person. In the popular amenities description on VRBO, it list no towels. However, I do provide approximately 5-6 towels for your convenience in case you forget yours. There is an email sent to all guest, if you have any issues or concern to please contact me. I did confirm this message was sent to you the day of your arrival and I was never notified of any issues or concerns. The small couch was removed a couple weeks prior to your arrival and replaced with a futon. This was done, so the futon cover can be washed and sanitized. Thanks for bringing that to my attention regarding the photo, its been updated. Thank you, Jody

Our property was recently renovated and located on a canal with direct access to the St. Clair River. There is a nice area to have a bonfire to enjoy the water and your stay. It’s within walking distance to town, restaurants and establishments. It’s a perfect property for boating, swimming, fishing or just relaxing.
