The North Cottage Hobbit Hollow Farm is a quaint and comfortable Cottage located in beautiful Skaneateles, NY, the Gateway to the Finger Lakes. Our property offers spectacular views of our own White Birch Vineyards and Skaneateles Lake, known worldwide for its unspoiled beauty. In addition to vineyard and lake views, our guest rooms overlook Hobbit Hollow Farm's beautiful barn and horse stables. Once offered exclusively in conjunction with our sister property Hobbit Hollow - we now welcome all guests to enjoy our little slice of heaven.
The North Cottage features three classic guest rooms, each uniquely appointed with well-crafted furniture and amenities that are sure to make your family getaway or girl's weekend away extremely enjoyable such as a whirlpool tub, full laundry room and smart TV. Luxurious beds and linens will ensure a wonderful night's sleep for every guest.
The North Cottage comes ready to go with a fully equipped kitchen and two separate dining areas, allowing any aspiring chefs in your group to prepare exquisite meals from Finger Lakes sourced ingredients. Or if going out on the town is more your speed, the Village of Skaneateles, only a few minutes’ drive from your front door, boasts a selection of many of the Upstate New York’s most acclaimed restaurants .
No matter the season The North Cottage at Hobbit Hollow Farm beckons you to explore Skaneatele's beauty. Choose from countless fun and exciting activities our area has to offer. Spend a leisurely day touring nearby wineries, as well as many other local distilleries and breweries. Enjoy boat tours and dinner cruises on Skaneateles Lake, and visits to local farm stands and markets. Avid or recreational hikers will find a wide range of hiking trail systems only a short drive away, including local state forest trails, Ithaca’s amazing gorges and Letchworth State Park – the Grand Canyon of the East. Or perhaps you want to experience the spectacular annual fall foliage or downhill skiing, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing when the beautiful Central New York landscape is laden with snow.
For days when you prefer to stay at your cozy home away from home, our living room provides ample space to hang out and enjoy a quiet day of games and reading and our large estate offers opportunities to enjoy walks, have picnics, and otherwise enjoy nature with your family and friends.
