Downtown Edgartown - Loved Family home -Walk to Town and Beaches

Our home is a well loved Vineyard family home. Located just .2 mile from Main Street down town Edgartown on a quiet, private road. Our cape/post & beam has a very unique cottage feel with exposed brick wall/hearth and open beams all around. Lots of Vineyard charm and character. Very large yard with lush gardens and a nice hidden patio with lighting and sound system. Very Island-y neighborhood with a nice mix of families and year round neighbors as well as vacationers. Beautiful large manicures lawn with many outdoor spaces. So close to town but private. You will hear the church bells from the whaling church and the feel the fog from Edgartown Harbor!
Walk to town and never have to park or sit in summer traffic! Bike to beaches and/or other towns! So many restaurants and activities within .5 mile from our home!
Off Season is the best kept secret and our favorite time here. Access to the whole Island becomes much more available and the beaches are still warm with beautiful blue skies. Nights are filled with starry skies and cool breezes.
Perfect for one small family or two couples
Sonos, sound system in patio and Apple tv. lots of amenities not found in your typical rental. We live here most of the year and spot rent when we travel.

Shoes off indoors please- we are on a dirt road and our floors are new soft pine so please remove shoes in mudroom :)

please turn ac units to 72-74 when leaving for several hours to conserve energy

We are year round residents and the Island is a very special place to us.
We do spend a few months off island and during this time we share our home. It is a very inviting and special place. We thoroughly enjoy all 4 seasons on Island! The Island is constantly changing and new and old experiences are always presenting themselves. We love our home here and hope that our guests will have the same positive experiences!

Why they chose this property

We have always loved the Vineyard and especially Edgartown. Being city people we like the closeness to town but love to enjoy a lot of quiet quality time in our patio and home feeling secluded as our road is private and very quiet! If you want to be close to town but enjoy having green space and privacy than you will love our house!

What makes this property unique

Our home is walking to town and centrally located that your options are unlimited. So many things to do that in all our years here we are still finding new things on the Island to do and visit.
We love to hike all parts of the Island that are not accessible during peak season.
We also love to run/walk all around and Edgartown.
The beach options are awesome and so close to home.
4 wheel- bike, walk, there are beaches for all within very close proximity from our house!
Great dining options, shopping, lots of great trails for walking.
Many art galleries and unique sights all around!
Town to town the Island changes and keeps it interesting!
