About this property

Lake House in Willow, Alaska

Beautiful lakefront home on Rainbow Lake.

A wonderful all-season lake house. Summer allows you to swim, paddle, fish for Pike, and listen to nothing but Loons while having coffee on the deck. Fall brings beautiful autumn colors on the surrounding birch trees and a calm and tranquil lake. Winter connects you to ice skating (early winter before it snows), nordic skiing, snowmachining, and aurora viewing all outside the front door.

• Come and relax and enjoy lake time with your family!
• Motorized lake so look into renting some water toys on your way up!
• Paddle boat and kayak available for guest use.
• Main house is one private bedroom (queen bed) and a large loft with additional sleeping (2 queens and 1 twin). The main house sleeps 7 max.
• Rustic/dry (has electric but no water or heat) bunkhouse with extra/private sleeping (queen bed) is available in the summer, if booked in advance, and for an additional $30 per night. Please inquire if interested.
• Some areas of the home will be unavailable during your stay, these areas will be clearly labeled.
. The home and location are beautiful but this is a remote cabin, not all dishes and silverware match, the yard isn’t perfect, the cell reception sucks, etc. Please make sure you are ok with that before booking.
• There is no Wifi or cable at the property and cell reception can be spotty or nonexistent for some carriers. There is a large selection of DVD's and games for your enjoyment.
• No washer/dryer on site.
• No pets. **Sorry to our local guests! There are occasional family dogs that are allowed in the home, we do our absolute best to ensure all dog hair is cleaned prior to taking bookings but due to the fact some family dogs do visit on occasion this is not a 100% allergen-free rental, however, we DO NOT allow guests to bring their pets on the property.**
• No smoking in the home. No parties or guests above the number listed on the reservation.
• Although the well water has been tested and is safe, there is a very slight sulfur smell. Drinking water will be left for you but if you know you will go through a lot of water it is recommended you bring additional drinking water for your stay.
• There is no trash service at the home, guests are asked to take their trash with them upon checkout. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you would prefer the ease of not having to deal with it, please let us know ahead of time and a $30 trash disposal fee will be applied to your reservation.

Perfect lake house!
I spent the weekend at this lake house with my sister and our 4 kiddos. We had so much fun boating and making s’mores. The lake has other friendly families out boating, we felt very safe and sound over here. :)All the beds and pillows are super comfy, and the shower is luxurious. In the mornings we sat on the dock and drank coffee watching a pair of Loons. Allison, the host, was incredibly helpful and accommodating the entire stay! Thank you Allison. We will be back next summer if it’s available :)

Beautiful lake view!! Nice cabin!
We really enjoyed this cabin, it even smells new. 6 people in our group, plenty of room for all. Loved the paddle boat and canoe! Neighbors let our kids play on water trampoline and wave runners. Saw beavers, bald eagle and loons. Trout weren’t biting for us but caught big pikes. Convenient to lots of great places. Coffee hut close by is excellent! Super nice and helpful man at supply store close by too. We definitely recommend staying here!

Peaceful lake
The house is beautiful. Amazing view from the loft . Had everything we needed. Kids had a blast in the lake. Easy clean access to walk into the water for little children. We brought our own kayak and water toys , but still enjoyed their canoe and paddle boat. The bunker was a cute bonus. It’s actually a good size cabin. Perfect for anyone in a group who wants privacy or doesn’t want to be disturbed during the evening/ nights. My nephew and his wife stayed in the bunker with their 5 month old baby. Allison was great to work with. I accidentally packed one of their spare blankets and pillow home and she was nice about me returning it ,a week or so later,on my next trip to Willow :)
