Welcome to the Midway Chalet! Our charming getaway is located next to Storyland and minutes away from Attitash, Cranmore, and Wildcat. Downtown North Conway is 15 minutes away for great shopping, restaurants, and mountain activities. If hiking is your passion we are perfectly located near Mt. Washington and many trail heads. Lots of great restaurants nearby, and Jackson Village is just a couple miles down the road. Our newly installed heatpumps ensure you are warm in the winter and have air conditioning throughout the entire space when it is hot. What a difference with no noisy window units!

We really enjoyed this home! The location is excellent, beds are very comfortable. There aren’t many extras, but the cookware is solid and the view is great.

February Anniversary Adventure

We enjoyed our stay! It is a great location near so many things to do. The chalet is comfortable. The wood stove kept the chalet extra toasty following outings. We look forward to returning.

Clean, cozy, and convenient

Stayed for a couple of nights to access Wildcat and Attitash. Perfect location. Chalet was outfitted with all the essentials - there was even to sauce and maple syrup for our pre-ski breakfasts! Thanks for a great stay.

The perfect mountain get away

The place was clean and well cared for! Perfect space for my two kids, my mom and my husband and I. 2 mins from Storyland was more than convenient and just a short drive downtown. There is a grocery store just down the street. Sheryl has excellent communication and the chalet had everything we needed to cook and the beds were super comfy! Highly recommend this rental!

Excellent location and very nice property

Came up here with my husband 5 year old, mom, dad and aunt. We all stayed comfortably in the house. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. Sheryl was a great host and quick to respond. Very close to story land which we enjoyed visiting. We also did the Cog railway up to mount Washington which was incredible. Very nice area and we would definitely come back.

Very clean and comfortable

This spacious “chalet” is a 2 story townhouse/condo-style unit located in a large building containing 6 similar units in Glen, NH. Great location for hiking, skiing, shopping and exploring the White Moutains, the location is definitely extremely convenient to everything but the proximity to Rte 16 comes at a price... Rte 16 is a very busy and noisy road with lots of traffic. The unit itself is very well maintained and extremely clean, cozy and comfortable. All the essentials are thoughtfully provided. Heating system and woodstove both work great. The owner Sheryl is very friendly, communications and check-in/check-out instructions were clear, detailed and super easy. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Two floors separating sleeping areas from common area is helpful with toddlers. Very peaceful area and extremely close to Storyland. Sheryl allowed early check in and her instructions were clear and easy. Laundry products available were a huge help and the Smart TV gave us access to pretty much every streaming service on the planet. Hoping to go back next year!

This was a good location for what we did. Not to far from the scenic railway, but far enough so that it was quite. Great living area and everything you need to prepare a meal.

Great time

We really enjoyed our stay. We cozied up to the fire one day and the next we skied at Attitash which was so convenient. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us and Sheryl was so responsive would def stay here again. Thank you!!!

Great location for a hiking weekend

We stayed at the chalet for two nights with four adult guests to do some hiking in the area and ring in the new year. The unit was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location to access trails in the area. We enjoyed the open layout of the common areas for relaxing evenings together. I would stay again!

White Mountains stay

The property was as described and expected. No complaints. Great location to White Mountains, grocery store, restaurants and other towns. Easy walking distance to little store around the corner for coffee, pizza, other food items, daily newspaper, etc.

Why they chose this property

Our chalet is situated in a perfect area of the White Mountains. We are close to any activity, yet a bit away from the busy area of North Conway proper. You can walk the area by our chalet as it is tucked up on a mountainside with other chalets and homes. A short walk up the hill from our place provides amazing views of Mt. Washington!

What makes this property unique

This chalet is very dear to our family. We have spent years staying in various places up here and it was a dream come true when we secured the Midway Chalet. We have worked very hard to make this a warm and inviting space that welcomes you after a fun day in the White Mountains.
