About this property

Condo just off the main the Parkway! Awesome Aug Rates!

Welcome to Dean's Den on the River! Named after our 3rd child, Dean’s Den is conveniently located in downtown Pigeon Forge within walking distance to many attractions the area has to offer. Our master suite boasts a king side bed, a flat screen TV and has it’s own private bath with a walk in shower. Our second bedroom offers a queen size bed, a flat screen TV and also has it’s own private bath. In our kitchen you will find most everything you need to prepare your favorite dish. We have a traditional coffee pot as well as a Keurig (coffee not supplied) to help get your mornings going. Sit on the couch or in the recliner and watch television and enjoy the gas log fireplace. We have a queen sleeper sofa to offer more sleeping accommodations for families with children. Our balcony overlooks the community pool and allows our guest to enjoy a nice beverage while listening to the sounds of the river flowing.

We are 2 minutes from The Ripken Experience baseball park, 3 minutes to The Island, about 6-7 minutes from Dollywood and 4-5 minutes from the Tanger Outlet mall.

Perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It is close to all the action, yet just far enough off the main strip. It was actually nicer than we expected. It had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. I especially loved the little balcony overlooking the river and also the gas fireplace. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Watch the toilets

The overall location and condo where nice however both toilets are not secured to the floor and the pillow cases on the bed smelled like sweat as if they were cleaned and left on the bed. The king size bedroom floor mats in the bathroom looked dingy as well. Overall nice place good location to a lot of stuff to see or do in the area.

Great location!

The condo gets 5-stars based on location alone. It was so easy to get to Dollywood and the Splash park. Our first night there we walked to the Island along the greenway that runs next to the river. So much nicer than walking down the busy parkway. There are geese and ducks everywhere. And after two full days at Dollywood and the water park is was so nice to be back at our room in just about 10 minutes. We didn't use much in the kitchen but it looked decently stocked. The beds were comfortable. The one complaint I had was the AC units are really loud. If you need it silent when you sleep you might want to turn them off. I would definitely stay here again if I was going to be in the area.

Problems

Master bath shower curtain had mold in it and floor was not clean same with kitchen floor very sticky. Small bathroom floors had paper and was sticky. Also main problem in the small bathroom had a lot of problems getting the water turned off. We still enjoyed our stay property was nicely done

AC worked great, we never changed settings, as for the pool it was covered, but we would not have used it anyway. It was clean, the shower floor looked like it needed a good cleaning but it was probably just stained,didn't keep us from using it. We could not have asked for a better host!

Great stay!

We loved everything about the condo, it met all of our needs. The air circulation wasn't great, due to it being wall units, so I would bring a fan with you. That's the only complaint. Everything else, was great! I had questions about the unit and the owners got back to me promptly.

We chose Dean's Den on the River for the location. With our kids always wanting to active in the attractions the area has to offer we felt it was best to be right in the middle of all the action.
