Flo's Hideaway is a cute and comfy 2 bedroom and two full bath home that sits on a sweet street near the marsh in Thunderbolt. Thunderbolt is a quaint fishing community located between Savannah and Tybee Island making travel to downtown and the beach a breeze! A 10 minute drive to Historic Savannah and a 15 minute drive to the beach, Flo’s Hideaway is 7/10 mile from Bonaventure Cemetery as well as within walking distance to great bars and restaurants, the Freedom Boat Club at Bahia Blue Marina and the fishing pier at Honey Park! There is a queen sofa bed located in the living room area. We are pet friendly when traveling with a small dog.

Great Hideaway!

I would definitely recommend this wonderful gem. It was perfect location for our visit to Savannah. The house was very clean and I loved the decorations. It was the perfect place to relax after long days of walking downtown. We will definitely book this one again.

Another great visit

This was our second time staying in this property and we love it. The hosts are great - helpful and friendly but not over the top. The location is perfect and the house is comfortable, has everything we need, well furnished, and nicely decorated. We loved our stay and hope to return.

Sunny times in Savannah

Perfect neighborhood location- central to all. Property layout was wonderful. We didn’t spend a lot of down time other than sleeping- but the hosts were wonderful with communication and tips to enhance our stay!! Would come back to this location again!

Why they chose this property

What makes this property special is the proximity to everything with a quaint neighborhood feel. Thunderbolt is situated between Savannah and the islands and offers its own flavor of the south. We have several restaurants and bars within a mile of the property. This property gets its name in memory of my mom, Florence, who was known by those close to her as “Flo”.
