We stayed at this VRBO for a wedding and absolutely loved the house itself—it was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a large group. There was plenty of room to sleep, eat, and enjoy time together. The town had a charming, very French atmosphere, and we felt safe throughout our stay.Unfortunately, several issues made our experience frustrating. There was no hot water, which meant we couldn’t shower before the wedding—a major inconvenience. When we contacted the host, we were told to flip the circuit breakers and wait 1–2 hours, but that didn’t resolve the issue.We had planned to host a lunch for wedding guests, but the dishwasher didn’t work, so we had to cancel. This was also the halfway point of our extended trip in France, and we couldn’t do laundry due to the hot water problem.The master shower drained so slowly that water overflowed onto the bathroom floor. When I mentioned this to the host, the response was simply “yep it drains slowly,” and there was no follow-up when I said water was everywhere. While the master bathroom was beautiful, both the shower and tub were unusable.This property has great potential, but the lack of responsiveness and basic functionality made our stay far more stressful than it should have been
